Taylors Landing

Absolutely beyond delicious food, with 4 out of 5 meals being perfect. My eggs Benedict was incredible!nMimosas were also a great hit with our table!nHowever, the service was below par with a group of 5 servers/bartenders. The hosts were helpfulnThe restaurant and patio are beautiful, creating a great atmosphere!!nOverall fantastic choice for delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere, but there is room for improvement in the service

A highly recommended place to eat, it seemed appropriate to enjoy one of our last Canadian meals here. A little quieter on a weekday and with lots of Olympic activity outside, we enjoyed our burgers with a Caesar, fast becoming a favourite! Great service, good burgers served just the way we wanted and great surroundings!

First impression going on a Thursday dinner, it is a big place with lots of empty seats, has an nice outdoor patio, great semi dark ambiance, gorgeous ceiling lights, clean and welcoming staff.nnWe were a group of 5, we were seated by the taller table and seats inside. Food menu is one page.nnFood was a hit or miss, regarding flavor and overall quality. We received our food hot and fresh and was presented well.nThe nachos had lots of toppings and the calamari was tender and delicious. Although the main foods had great portions and were filling, the flavor of some were lacking. Pizza was below average, tasted overcooked and the toppings didnt blend well together. Carbonara was great, had the sharp, rich and salty taste. Steak was chewy, fries tasted too salty for my liking. Burger was alright, i was looking for a different kind of taste because its name intrigued me, but nothing special. There was nothing really memorable with the food.nnService was good. Our server connor checked on us a few times, gave our food on time, and gave us what we needednnPrices are a bit pricey for the appetizers, but reasonable for the mains.nnOverall, the place is alright, but probably wouldnt come again. Maybe id recommend to eat in the patio for a better ambiance.

I came to Taylor’s Landing for brunch expecting to have a pleasant experience. However, this ended up being an upsetting experience that could have been avoided.nnThe staff are pleasant and understanding , however there seems to be an immense disconnect between service and kitchen.nnMy family waited an hour and a half for our food, and the food was “below sub par.” When I acknowledged that there was barely any smoked salmon I told “that’s how it comes.” I asked to pay for more smoked salmon and unfortunately was denied. Second, my dish came with 1.5? Poached eggs which illustrates that there is no quality control at the kitchen level.nnPeople were being told that the wait for food is an hour which adds salt to the wound seeing that the restaurant was at 25% capacity. The server said that they were notnShort staffed indicating that this level of slow absent service is the normal expectation.nnPeople were leaving and there was no genuine attempt to satisfy customers except to give excuses about the kitchen being slow.nnThe staff was understanding of our wait times, but it could not compensate for the overall terrible experience. It’s really unfortunate how the service of this place has gone down drastically as I used to regularly attend her. I am writing this review as a warning for future patrons to not have high expectations as with patio season it will only get busier and if today is any indicator of their service it will only get worse.

Came for a beef burger and ended up getting the chicken burger. Absolutely blew my mind. Best crunch in the city, honestly!!! Could have a bit less salt, but that's just my taste buds.
