Jack Astor's Bar & Grill

I had lunch here on a weekday around 2 p.m., so it was fairly quiet. The place has beautiful, modern decor and a lively atmosphere. I’m sure it gets really hopping when it’s crowded.nnI ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. I regret not taking a picture of it, but I was so hungry that I forgot to! The service was friendly and quick, and the food was good - the chicken sandwich was hot and crispy, with a good-size chicken piece. Overall, it's a fun place to eat!

Our server Bruno was wonderful - accommodating and funny! Our food was good, great portions. Mine could have been a little warmer, I had the New York steak with a potato and veggies. The ladies had a chicken Caesar salad and a burger with fries. We had a bottle of white wine, and a slice of cheesecake and blueberry tarte for dessert. This was a ladies' night out, the company was fantastic and that's all that matters!

Extremely disappointed, especially because of the high price point, that my Mexican Chicken Bowl did NOT include avocado, which was the second ingredient on the dish. Not a word was said to me if they didn't have it, no acknowledgement or offer to get something else - only realized it when I was eating my leftovers at home and luckily have a photo to prove myself right. SO disappointed. I used to come here all the time growing up and not only have prices gone through the roof, service is sub par she disappeared some times and looked annoyed when we asked to separate our bills? and I paid so much for this bowl I'm pretty sure was also missing the creamy lime dressing. STAY AWAY.

We were a table of 7 and ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, mains and then desserts. The food were all freshly prepared, tasted pretty good and the service was great.nnThe least favourite item we had was the buffalo and honey garlic wings. The buffalo sauce didn’t taste much of franks hot sauce or was vinegary. The honey garlic wings were too sweet, not enough garlic and wasn’t well balanced.nnOtherwise, the rest of the items we ordered were great and everyone had a great time!

It is the perfect place to go to have a good time, the food is very good and never disappoints, I recommend the nachos, the wings and the burgers are the dishes that I have tried and they have been good, the patio and interior has a very good atmosphere.
