Jack Astor's Bar & Grill

The Friday night vibe here is honestly amazing. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a cold beer after a long week at work. The music and atmosphere make it feel lively but still comfortable. Siyana was super friendly and made me feel really welcome. She suggested a couple of dishes and they turned out to be so tasty that I’d definitely order them again. Honestly, this spot makes me look forward to Friday evenings even more, and I know I’ll keep coming back.

A great restaurant with a nice feature for watching sports. It has a bring your own audio device to watch and listen to your favourite sporting event on their many TVs.nnIt is also very family friendly with a special kids menu which doubles as a kids activities sheet.nnThe food and service were great as well. They had mocktails as well as a large selection of drinks and side items.nnA great menu and a great atmosphere as wellnnParking was a bit of a challenge but many options were there including a parking lot and covered parking.

This was my first time visiting this particular location. I’ve been to another Jack Astor’s in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. But I must say this diner was much more spacious and had a very good vibe, displaying Canadian flags hanging from the ceiling, an homage to our Canadian identity. Multiple TV screens were showing various sports games; music playing in the background. It was the perfect place to unwind and satisfy our hunger.nnOur server Lea, a young beautiful Lebanese lady, was very pleasant and welcoming. We engaged into a nice conversation; she was very friendly and happy to cater to us.nnAll three of us ordered the “Mushroom Truffle Cheeseburger”, which was delicious and very filling it came with a double layer of burger, and came with a large side of fries. It was impossible to bite through it for fear of messing up, so we all opted to eat it properly with forks and knives. And the price was very reasonable!nnThere was a birthday celebration at the nearby table. I would have liked to take a photo, but I didn’t want to intrude on people’s privacy.nn“Shops on Don Mills” in itself is a great place to be, offering a variety of shops, restaurants and cafés, and especially so if it means I can return to Jack’s!

Had a great meal at Jack's Don Mills nWe started with the Street Chicken Tacos and they were so delicious. For our main, we split the Chicken Wings and a Burger. The wings were definitely the star of the show for me—so good!nOverall, everything was tasty and hit the spot. Highly recommend this place!

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is just perfect – amazing ambience , fun energy , and super cozy yet lively at the same time .nThe drinks & cocktails were absolutely on point – so refreshing and full of flavor . Seriously, I could come back just for those! The fries were next-level – crispy, golden, and so addictive . I kept going back for more, they’re THAT good!nThe nachos were loaded and delicious – perfect to share with friends or not, haha . Everything we ordered came out fresh, tasty, and just hit the spot .nAnd the best part – the service . The staff was so friendly, quick, and made sure everything was perfect .nOverall, Jack Astor’s = Amazing food , Incredible cocktails , Perfect vibe , and Top-notch service . Definitely one of my new favorite spots to chill, eat, and enjoy .
