Since its inception in 1992, JOEY restaurants quickly spread into four Canadian provinces, Washington State and California. I recently dined here with my family and was quite disappointed with the experience. We were seated on the upstairs patio around 7:40 PM, where we ordered appetizers and drinks for the five of us. While our server was pleasant and attentive, we encountered a significant issue when our main courses arrived around 8:15 PM.nnAt that point, we were informed that it was the last call for food and drinks because the manager had decided to close the upstairs patio early. This decision was particularly frustrating since we had just started our meals and hadn't even had the chance to order additional drinks or desserts. My father-in-law, understandably upset, questioned the server about the abrupt closure, only to be told we could pay for our meal on the patio and then move downstairs for any additional orders, as the rest of the restaurant would remain open.nnThis approach seemed quite baffling. If the patio was closing early, it would have made more sense to either not seat guests there or inform us of the early closure when we arrived. We were left feeling quite dismayed as we finished our meals.nnAs for the food, the appetizers were satisfactory, and my family's dishes were fine. However, my fish tacos were extremely dry and rubbery. Given the early closure and inability to order more food, I only managed to eat one taco out of necessity and left the rest. Overall, it was an unfortunate and frustrating evening.

Had a date night during happy hours. Lovely atmosphere with great selection of drinks and food. Plenty of veggie options. Highly recommend the place. Service was a bit slow May be cause it was a Sunday night. They charged one of the items as per usual price even though it was a happy hour item leading to uptick in our bill by $10. This was for sure an oversight and I’d rather add more tip for the person serving than be deducted like this.

Friendly staff, good food, with a nice bar to watch your favorite sports.nIt's a popular, loud, and busy restaurant bar, so expect longer waits. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on Friday nights and the weekends. Staff try their best to accommodate walk ins, sometimes they offer free drinks while you wait.nLia and another lady which unfortunately I did not get her name were extremely helpful and considerate to arrange a booth quickly, as I had some guests who could not sit at a high table.nParking is limited, so you might need to walk a bit.nPictures are from different visits.

Great to experience. Patio and location is great for so many reasons. Well run chain restaurant.nnVery pleased with the consistency. Been here a 10x times and never disappoints. Lettuce wraps, wings, club sandwiches, tuna and steak. I’m pleased.nnService shout outs to team members who have made a difference. Nat and Chris, thank you for the laughs and great experience. Thanks to Jess for so many pleasant visits with outstanding hospitality.nnGive the place a try if you like outdoor plazas with great energy.

Three of us really enjoyed our visit to Joey's.nInterior and ambience was very nice. We sat down upstairs on the patio, amazing weather and we enjoyed the view. Service was exceptional,  we were served by few different waiters, all did wonderfully. Food was good, tasty and good portions for the money. One thing that was a bit off, was the meat was just little too cold, still edible. See the photos. We paid ~ $190 +tip for three mains, beer, sangria, coke. Pricy.
