Tall Trees Bed & Breakfast

Highlights of the room included a comfortable bed and a beautiful view.nSadly, the demeanour of our host - which was curt and short-tempered - made our one night stay and breakfast the next day, very uncomfortable.

Posting was misleading about use of communal space and orientation of rooms. Owner has 3 small dogs loud and one left a surprise outside one of the bedrooms.

My family really wanted to like Tall Trees, but it wasn't the experience that was advertised and we were turned off by the lack of hospitality.nnWe booked far in advance and advised that we were traveling with our baby, and though it is not the host's responsibility to childproof rooms, I wish that I had asked more questions rather than assuming it was family-friendly. The room was full of hazards that made the stay stressful for us and unsafe for the baby, for example a hard tile bathroom with stairs going down and a door that would open with a push, and many low shelves and wires/outlets. We were also surprised at the treatment we received by the host. Our expectations were reasonable - we are after all a family with a baby, which may be an added stress for a host - but the host did not introduce herself when we met her, did not say good morning when we arrived for breakfast, and we left interactions feeling uncomfortable rather than feeling like welcome paying guests. We were welcomed much more warmly by another staff we encountered one short time when arranging laundry. We ended up shortening our stay.nnThere were also things that I wish had been communicated more professionally, like which services were extra charges and how to pay. We were only given the option to e-transfer, and my invoice had a laundry charge that I hadn't been informed of. I would have been fine with it, but it would have made sense to communicate the charge when I asked about laundry.nnOverall based on our stay I would not recommend Tall Trees.

Very accommodating staff. We had to cancel on short notice which was no problem. We later booked on our way home. Nice room. Thoughtful and well equipped en suite with everything you might need. Great breakfast with a large French press of coffee. Highly recommended !

Beautiful and clean place. Very friendly and nice Hosts. They offered a warm welcome to me n my pet. I would definitely like to stay with them again in future.nI wanted to revisit my review and add into it.nMy work brings me to Rupert almost every month for couple of days and since last 2 years me & my cat have stayed at Tall Tree almost every month. There sure are many options for stay in PR but I prefer staying here because of the hospitality they offer. Both Andrea and her partner are very kind and accommodating.nThe place is always very neat & clean.
