Story

The Inn on the Harbour is situated on a bluff overlooking the busy Prince Rupert harbour. More than half of our rooms have a view of the Pacific ocean. Within walking distance of shopping, services and attractions, Inn on the Harbour is ideally located in the heart of Prince Rupert. We are steps away from the bus drop-off for airlines and Greyhound bus and just a short drive from ferry and rail terminals. We are pleased to offer a smoke-free environment for the comfort of our guests.

It was an effortless check in with two lovely professional front desk ladies who were helpful as well as kind. Continental breakfast was different in a good way, there was staff who also assisted with everything. The only thing we did on our own was get our coffee. The room was clean, comfortable and the view was so beautiful albeit it was raining the entire time we were in PR. I absolutely appreciate that this hotel is dog friendly, I enjoy taking our border Collie with us when we travel. Check out was just as lovely as the check in. The entire experience was positive and I highly recommend.
Stayed a few years ago and found food garbage and pills on floor under bed. Complained but they didn’t seem too concerned. They cleaned room and reimbursed one nights stay. After they cleaned the room we found one of the pills they were supposed to have disposed of on top of our bed. We had our own duvet on the bed in photos supplied and they claimed it wasn’t in their room because it wasn’t their bedding. We left it at that. Thinking we would never stay there again. I was booked into this hotel by my work just the other day and found the bathroom filthy dirty around toilet, stains running down front of toilet and something on floor trash on floor under counter and behind sink.nFirst trip was family vacation. This trip was business.nI’m done with them.
I have stayed here a few times! Rooms have always been cleanly, staff make you feel at home, and the view in the dining area is phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back.
Building old as the hills around. Must have been refitted recently because only the structure is old. Interior is very much up to date and well tended to.nnBeds clean and comfortable. Paused my insomnia and I only woke up 3 times usually 6 or 8 in a strange bed... That is a definite result of the comfort.nnBig shout out and appreciation for this Hotel in how they handled our arrival with my service dog. It was a huge 'little detail' for me and so unexpected. They were %100 correct with how they addressed and accepted my service dog. There was ZERO pretense or pre-judging us as fraudulent.nSo rare.nSo appreated.nThey have obviously taken care to make their staff comfortable and aware of how to ensure guests don't feel criminalized for using a service dog.nnThere was no pretextural demand for ID. Instead they observed her proper comportment and left it at that. This is the way everyone should be... Only makes those misbehaving feel uncomfortable and lets the innocent enjoy their day.nThank you.nSeriously, Thank you.
Ocean view room with a huge window. Loved the view of the rainy day over the ocean with little bit of sunshine
