Had a great stay here. The hotel is older but very nice and clean. Decor has a bunch of beautiful indigenous art. The location is right on the waterfront with amazing views and a short walk to Cow bay. The only downside was the water is not drinkable due to the city supply but they provide you with as much bottled water as you want and they do have plans to install a water treatment system in the hotel in the very near future. The pub in this hotel is one of the best pubs I’ve been in a long time. The food was so good, a bit on the pricey side but good size portions and tasty. I ate here every day for a week. The staff at the hotel and bar were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I’ll be returning here when I come back to Rupert which I will most definitely.
Easy 10/15 minute walk from the airport drop off point. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing views out of the room. Room was clean, bed was comfy and shower hot and powerful. There was a problem with the water in Prince Rupert but plenty of bottled water available. At there for breakfast and a couple of evening meals, reasonable price with good service.
The room I stayed in was a basic and a bit outdated for the price point in my opinion. Beds are really comfortable and my room was quiet. The view from my room was spectacular, looking out over the harbour. Great central location.
We had a one night stay at the Crest Hotel as part a fall road trip to Haida Gwaii. We drove from Vancouver to Prince Rupert in one shot and despite looking tired and a bit ragety, the staff welcomed us warmly and presented to us a very clean and nicely finished room. The beds were comfortable and waterfront view from the excellent restaurant was great. Definitely would stay again should I be in Prince Rupert in the future.
Nice stay at the Crest on my last trip. The hotel has an old world charm to it and is super quiet! I recommend an ocean view room - nice to be able to relax and look at the harbour. Also, the location is great and is walking distance to good restaurants and the waterfront.
