We ordered from Taj Curry House last Monday. The food was incredible! Everything was properly spiced and very good portion sizes. The beef vindaloo, chicken masala and butter chicken were soooo good. The raita is to die for. Best Indian food I have ever had! Reasonable priced. Hope to order again soon and try their other dishes. Love this place <3
By far THE BEST curry in Kingston we’ve come across! Always prepared exceptionally well and the flavours are amazing! Our weekly go-to spot - never disappoints!
Great taste and flavours. However they didn't deliver the pappadums and the chicken was quite dry, despite the sauce!
Best in Kingston! The chicken is incredible. Very high quality. Always exceeds expectations. Our go to place!
Fairly disappointing. Ordered off Skip, half the order didn't arrive. Decent spice level for what I did receive, but not much else going on.Food: 3/5
I got the chicken tiki masala and seasoned rice to go. About a 5 minute walk from the holiday inn. I like curry, and I like spicy. They nailed it. A little expensive, $20, but very large portion. Could easily feed 2. Overall, delicious. A little expensive but worth it.
Great service by a super friendly couple who own the restaurant. Be sure to try their homemade hot sauce made from habanero peppers grown in their own backyard!
Best place for quality Indian food. My go to lunch takeout spot!
I have been here a couple of times. The owners are friendly and polite. The decor is cozy and unpretentious. The food is delicious. I just described to the owner what I was looking for a strong flavoured curry, spicy, with lamb and was served a yellow split pea curry with lamb. It was so good. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend this restaurant.
Delicious food. Will definitely return. It was abundantly clear that this was a family run restaurant when I arrived - even their young son was trying to help by communicating the orders to the kitchen. He was very polite and even handed me by take-out order. They seemed like a wholesome family and I fully support such a business. Most importantly, however, the food was amazing and the portions were generous. I ordered the butter chicken and the chicken was juicy and tender. They can make it a little spicy if you'd like the kick. There weren't many people eating there - however there were many customers coming in to pick up take-out orders. Seems like a popular restaurant. WIll return again soon!
