Had lunch at Naan Stop while visiting Kingston and ordered Chapli Kabob. The food was absolutely delicious. Naan bread was freshly made and it was served with Chatni and salad. Place is clean and has lots of seating spaces. A nice place for family to have lunch or dinner. If you’re in Kingston you must try it!
Nice ambiance and fresh food. Their kababs and butter chicken naan is quite famous around the block and they taste delicious as well. The amount is also gracious for 2 peoples. Good place for a quick grab on those if you’re travelling to and from Kingston.
I just randomly found this place from suggestions for halal food. Ordered Chicken Tikka with Butter Naan. It come's super fresh with raita and salad along. Without water jug Service was also quick might be due to non rush hours, but for me it was super quick. Overall, it was wonderful experience for me.
We found this place last year in July 2020 through Google search. The reviews were good, so we decided to go here and try Pani Puri. Our first experience was very good and so was the food 10/10. The owner was also very nice and friendly. However, the second time we went here and ordered Pani Puri as well as Butter Chicken and Naan, we noticed that the food quality went down 8/10. The Pani Puri wasn't the one I fell in love with. The recipe changed a lot. I gave this restaurant another shot in November 2020 hoping that the recipe was changed back to what it was. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed to find out that the food quality went down even more 5/10 and big chunks of potatoes were now added to the filling instead of just chickpeas which was now really spicy as well. So for that reason, I'm out. I won't be returning here again as I've given it 2 chances to bounce back. I'm attaching all three photos for reference.
Oof. We just ate here for the first time. Top tier food quality and service. I'm so stuffed I can barely write this review but alas, I must confess. The food was absolutely incredible!
They make amazing chapli kababs! So tasty and juicy. Their naans are also very soft and fresh. We did takeout as their dine in was closed. Their biryani was ok.
Great halal restaurant in kingston ..chapli kebab are their speciality .. so far best chapli kebabs i ate in canada ... surprisingly everything was good in taste chicken karhai , palak paneer , chana .. they are just doing take out and delivery in pandemic .. must try when in kingston
Very courteous staff. I ordered BBQ tandoori chicken was amazing. The naan bread was amazing. They serve fresh bread. Amazing tawa chicken, chaplee kabab, heavenly butter naan and aloo gosht.The kitchen is right in front so you can see your food being prepared in a super clean shiny kitchen. Clean facility and washrooms. Will definitely keep going back there.
Choosing to review my rating and feel a bit disappointed to reduce it to 3 stars from 5 stars. The quality of naan has significantly dropped and so is the thickness, Chapli kababs are rarely available, in fact the menu items are hardly available exception of one or two items. With this rate of quality decline , I doubt it will be in business for long! Old Review: By far the most authentic tasting desi food in Kingston. Chapli Kababs and naans always makes me nostalgic.
extremely decent staff the woman said we are closed. but if I had chicken I would make you butter chicken. I leave this restaurant A 5 star review
