Stopped e route to Montreal for dinner in Kingston and was pleasantly surprised by the food service and ambiance. Great taste flavours and freshly prepared dishes. They have vegan options. Each dish was so delicious that we landed licking the bowls. A must visit if in Kingston or passing through. Decent pricing and great staff. Loved it!
The awesome restaurant, which gives decent food experience with luxurious surroundings. Lighting-Seating-decorations are making it perfect. Food was nicely presented. But I wasn’t satisfied with flavour and taste of food. Well I used to have typical taste of food, like original.. but some where taste was different. Overall good.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, very extensive menu, staff is very friendly, impressed by wet towels to clean our hands. We had mulligatawny soup which was very good,hawaiian paneer tikka was excellent and the pomegranate tandoori chicken was good too, moist and juicy but couldn’t see the pomegranate. Nice to see clean restrooms.
We have been here twice now and the food is very good. Our most recent visit consisted of three meals. The shahi paneer was to die for, so creamy and a little sweet. The chicken tikka masala was excellent and spicy. I personally didn't like the Punjabi chorel, but my husband really did. The curry portions were large enough for us to get 2 meals out of them. We ordered on a Friday night for takeout and it took about 45 minutes. We are both looking forward to going back again
Although it was late, the manager still accepted us in, that too with a smile. The food was great! Perfect tandoori roti, really nice kadhai paneer and tender lamb Rogan Josh. Although, the chicken Muglai was a bit tough, and I believe in a wrong gravy. I asked the manager for some sliced onions on the side and he got what I wanted, thank you for a lovely meal.
We were driving back to Mississauga from Quebec city and took a break in Kingston for late lunch. All of us were craving Indian food and we decided to visit this place . The interior is beautiful and choice fully done . The tables were beautifully decorated with flower stands and candles . We were given hot refreshing towels too . Coming to the food , since we had ordered tandoori fish it was a long wait for us to eat after we ordered. The manager saw that and offered us fritters while we waited for our food to order .it was a nice gesture . We ate tandoori fish , mutton Rogan josh, chicken butter masala , naan , dal makhani and peas pulao . Taste was good , a little less spicy if you prefer spicy Indian food , let them know to suit everyone’s taste pallet. Overall a wonderful dining experience !
June 2022 It is rare that I visit one place again but there are many Indian food choice in Kingston. So here I am again but with different experience. Food list and kids loved it: Tomato soup ***** Butler paneer Masala mild ***** Daal Tadka medium spicy ***** Chana Masala ***** Malai Kofta ***** Paneer Tikka Masala ***** Rice pualo ***** Bhutre ***** Aalo Stuff Naan ***** Paneer Stuff Naan ***** Garlic butter naan ***** The patio is open now if you want to sit outside and enjoy. Staff is excellent and owner is more involved now and visit guests. March 2022 4 Star Visited the place with college friends for dinner. The kitchen closed at 9 pm so make sure you reached early and place your order. The staff is nice and the ambiance is good. There is large sitting area so they can accommodate big group. Now about the food. We order too much as the portion is big enough. So if you are big group than plan to order properly. You get complementary rice bowl with few curries. However, the restaurants allow you to pack the stuff. What we order: Dal Makani **** Palak Paneer **** Masala Paneer **** Gobhi aalo **** Fried shrimp **** Chicken biryani **** Butter naan *** Garlic naan *** The food was not spicy so you may need to ask the chef if you like spicy food. I did not like the naan as it was little hard and did not enjoy it. If you are in Kingston than may visit.
Absolutely best Indian cuisine in town. All the dishes had an authentic Indian base, and the price was offset by the very decent portion sizes. Interior decor was very elegant with ample and spacious dining area. Service was quick and especially Kumar and Rick were really nice to talk to as well. Highly recommended!
Awesome experience!! Food was one of the best we have tasted in all of North America. The Experience for two was a delight to have - be prepared, it will be more than two people can handle. The kulchas were very well made, delicious and right off the oven. The four different curries were excellent and we got a taste of authentic North Indian cooking. Service was excellent with the owner checking in often - very pleasant. No wonder this restaurant has such great reviews. Top it off, the gulab jamoons and rasgoollas were awesome as well. This was our first time here and WOW, the food was so amazing! The staff were really friendly and helpful, there was so much food with a wonderful atmosphere can't wait return...definitely recommend eating here!Recommended dishesChicken Biryani
