Amazing food with amazing experience!! The whole experience from start to finish is great, staff is so friendly, kind and helpful. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. And biriyani was so tasty with awesome portion that makes you and your heart full. Always a great spot to get great food.
Too expensive for the quantity provided.Food is good but service is terrible.When order is placed you are never asked about the size of the item ordered,but when your bill comes it’s large .The hand sanitizer provided at the entrance smelled Dettol.No washroom inside the restaurant.I will never go back to that place. Reference to your reply dated 7/4/22 what is Rananjay.I never ordered anything like that. And with regards to portion I mentioned your waitress never asked what size we prefer . Anyways appreciate your reply .
I purchased the tikka masala, tomato coconut soup and papadam when they were at the Kingston Online Memorial Centre Market. It was my first time trying Indian food and it was SO delicious, I can't wait to go back! Vegan and vegetarian options available.
I used to order the weekend special chole bhature every weekend and it was consistently great up until about 5-6 weeks ago when it became extremely inconsistent, tasting different every weekend. After a couple weeks of not ordering due to this we decided to order again today and the chole was awesome like it used to be but the bhature was burnt, 1 was white, 2 were a medium brown, and 1 was very dark. So sad with the inconsistency here as it used to be superb every single time but can’t justify continuing to order when it’s a 50/50 chance as to what I’ll receive.
We ask for butter naan but these are frozen naans this happen many times to us . Even the service was to poor 30 min wait not even good food will not come to this restaurant again
For a sister date night we were looking for a new place to eat in Kingston. After some Google searches we decided on 1000 Curry based on the reviews. The dinning room is spacious and modern, the staff was amazing we even got a special order of naan bread for us to try! and so knowledgeable about the menu and assisted with picking out dishes for us to try. The only thing better than the staff was the food! We are leaving with full bellies and can't wait to come back again to try some more of the dishes! Vegetarian options: Loved that the menu had so many vegetarian options! It was hard to choose what I wanted to try!
We love authentic Indian and Sri Lankan food but live and travel between Brighton and Cornwall. This place is a gem! We eat here approx every 8 weeks. Last visit my husband requested a particular dish not on menu that he enjoyed at another restaurant in another city. The chef/owner came to our table to clarify the request and after serving us the dish, educated us on the origin and history of it.
Presentation was good. Good chef and the server was friendly.
The food and staff was great ! So polite and checked on us to make sure everything is right . They were happy and willing to make modifications we needed in the food . We ordered pulao, lamb biryani, madras chicken and paneer korma and it was all delicious ! The place is clean and the service was quick . It was inexpensive too for the quantity. Vegetarian options: There’s a bunch of veggie option and most of them can be made substituted as veggie options
We had an absolutely fabulous Indian curry lunch today, with the Makhani chicken, Shahi Paneer and Bhindi Masala being especially out of this world! I’ve lived in India, and this was truly excellent and authentic North Indian cuisine. The puris and butter naan were as good as any anywhere, the chai was the best I’ve had in Kingston, and my only regret is that I didn’t know about them sooner! We’ll be back, soon, and I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
