Well I rarely give so few stars, but this place is not good at all. I pulled into the drive through and was greeted by the person on the speaker with "what do you want"... I responded with "I'm sorry I didn't catch that" to which they said "to eat, what do you want to eat". That by itself was not a big deal. I ordered my nachos and tea then pulled around. No one was in line ahead of me or behind me. They asked me if I wanted any hot sauce, I said sure I'd take 5 or 6 packets. Then I waited at the window for 11 minutes for my nachos. I watched as the person who was helping me at the window was shoveling food in their mouth, chewing with their mouth open while pouring my ice tea... Right under their mouth while still chewing. I got to watch the person making my food had gloves on at least, but I'm the middle of making my nachos they stopped and have another employee a big hug gloves touching all kinds of non food things. Then they picked their ear with the gloves on. Finally my food was given to me. I pulled right over and stopped so I could eat. My chips were stale, very stale, there was no crunch to them at all. Yuk Since this was my first visit I didn't realize their hot sauce was not little packets, they are the containers that are in my pic. Lol this again was not a big deal, still kind of weird though. My recommendation is to not eat here. Ever. Go hungry before you eat here.
This store does an amazing job! Food is always correct, made well and definitely fresh. If something gets messed up the manager is quick to fix it. It's one of the only fast food places that have vegetarian options! It's uality fast food in my opinion.
Gosh, this place is HORRIBLE. I waited 10 minutes for this? I should have left when my shoes stick to the floor in the entire dining room. I should have left when the bathroom was a disaster. I should have left when i waited 5 minutes at the counter. Then, i should have asked for money back when food took over 10 minutes. I should have got my money back when the tater tot things looked like someone stepped on them and when my crisp tacos fell apart... Look at the picture... Horrible!
Terrible been decades tt customer... Never again. taco now 7.99 nacho what like $13 for a order half the size it was couple months ago oh yeah its chips tiny bit of cheese and meat... Nothing else... Here I go back taco del mar...was of $56 for 5 items of nothingness....
I usually don’t like to write a negative review about any businesses but this has just been consistent 5 times in a row over a couple of months not so great service. My order was only correct 1 time out of 5 and that time there were dead bugs in my tater tots. I get a chicken soft taco and a regular tater tots so nothing wild. My last visit I decided I would never go to this location again. It’s where I found the dead bugs in my tater tots, but also I was there at 10:55am website and hours on the door say they open at 10:30 and they weren’t open or any rush to open. I walked in and the girl at the front register was on her cell phone and just completely ignored me. The other person there came out of the back and was super nice and apologetic but still ended up waiting ~10 minutes for them to open up, then another 10 minutes to get my food. So I’m giving up on this location. It’s not worth it, especially when the food is now close to $15 for a taco and a fry and it’s not even right most times I’m not blaming the employees for the price.
Worst location I’ve visited. The drive-thru took over 20 minutes, they had to ask us to repeat our drink order three times. Our tater tots were completely demolished in the boxes. The wait was so long, we considered leaving without our food and without paying. I’ve never left a negative review before, but recommend saving yourself the experience and going to a different Taco Time location.
Went through the drive-thru, 30+minutes from ordering to in hand. Got home, a 5 minute drive and the food was cold and disgusting. Not the quality I expected that I'm used to and for the amount of money I spent. The food went in the trash, it was that gross. Never going back, ever.
Fish tacos and shrimp tacos: way better than they should be for fast food. Everything else: below expectations. It was Our first time in a taco time and we somehow had to explain the menu to THREE employees. To be clear: quesadilla and casita are very different words with vastly different meanings. Salsa is garbage but pico tasted ok. Bathrooms were both grotesque and very unkept.
Taco Time is an American inspired "Mexican" fast food place. I personally think the mexi-fries tater-tots are the best items on the menu.Food: 3/5
They put the mini in mini for $12. I will not go back to this location. Not the first time I had this experience. Also, a 15min drive thru wait.
