Sushi Gio

First, it was a really hot day when I went, so the dimmer lights and cold AC here was a huge relief. The staff were friendly and very quick, efficiently refilling our cups and keeping an eye out for anyone waving to get attention. Food was delicious, great both visually and in our mouths!

Neat little spot for sushi. Like their aburi and fusion sushi rolls which are unique. Rolls and sashimi is comparable to other sushi places. Prices are a little higher but every order I had tasted great! Friendly staff. Sometimes it is a long wait for items on a busy or slow day, hence the 4/5.

The food was very good, nice presentation , the spicy sauce for the agedashi tofu was a simply chinese syracha as its flavor was very garlicky, i was expecting a different more authentic sauce. Overall good, but lost 1 star because they don't offer the miso soup as a starter of the meal included with the bento as any other sushi restaurant offer. I find the miso a characteristic staple, and it prepares your stomach for the following entrees. The atmosphere is nice, although they keep the music modern reggeton or pop too loud for being a restaurant. I like to talk and hear what my guests are saying, and that was almost impossible without raising our voices. Vegetarian options: As other sushi restaurants, tofu, vegetables tempura Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free soya sauce, just ask the server.

I was excited to try this place, as I just moved and it’s 3 mins away. They were fast which was nice. But the rest I was not very happy about. The roll was too big and skinny you could not even pick it up with chopsticks and half the roll was literally just rice. I was also super excited when the lady on the phone mentioned they had an option of spicy mayo on the spicy salmon sashimi. I figured it would be chopped up in piece and spicy mayo mixed it. To my surprise it was just the slabs of sashimi with the spicy mayo slapped on top… it was so slippery you could hardly pick it up with chopsticks. I was not happy with the presentation. I’m not sure if it was because it was take out or because I ordered around 8:00p when they close at 9:00p … :/ I paid $27 for this. Which in my opinion was definitely not worth it. I might possibly try this place again because some of their other rolls on the reviews look quite good and it close to my house. But I was disappointed with this order.

Been ordering from this place for a long time and for the most part the food is good plus the drive through is a huge bonus. Recently I ordered my usual sashimi and it had a piece of plastic in it. When I called to tell them all I got was a “sorry about that”. With out any sort of compensation. I had to dispose of the remaining food for safety reasons and due to loss of appetite. Very disappointed, will be taking my business elsewhere.

Stopped by for lunch on the way home from work. Friendly staff, food was so good and it came very quickly! Will definitely be going back and recommending.Food: 5/5

Good variety. Great food. Good service. A little on the pricey side. A must visit sushi place!

Great sushi, fresh, and tasty, good prices, good service just super busy! We tried the deep fried california, the snow roll, and the real crab california.
