Kai Japanese Restaurant

After the Coquitlam location, hearing that a Langley location was opening meant I had to try. Definitely giving it five stars! Yes it’s a little pricier compared to others, but this restaurant is in a new building, the staff are efficient, and the food delicious! Not to mention the food is presented beautifully!Food: 5/5

Kai Sushi was awesome! The classic rolls were great while the sashimi was incredibly fresh. But the real show was the blue fin tuna which was perfect with the real wasabi! Each bite was a flavour explosion. The laid-back vibe made the experience even better. A must-visit for sushi enthusiasts in the Langley area.Food: 5/5

This Japanese restaurant is amazing. Offering quality food that’s fresh and enjoyable. Watch out for the spice in the agedashi tofu! It was more than I could handle higher than your regular “medium” IMO. The space is totally new, just a few days old, so everything is immaculate. There’s lots of space and plenty of seating. I enjoyed the decor, with the wood panels and variety of textures. The service was excellent; very attentive, accommodating and amiable. I made a reservation over the phone and the lady was very helpful. Their prices are a bit higher than most of the Japanese restaurants in the area. However, the portions were larger and more filling, in proportion to what you pay for. We over-ordered thinking that the portions were what we were used to and ended up leaving full with an entire roll boxed up. We enjoyed a decent glass of red as well. Great job! We’ll be returning for certain.

Highly reccomend Kai! Came here once and haven't stopped coming on a weekly basis. The service is top tier. And their food is consistently good. Best Japanese sushi in Langley IMO my favorite is their Volcano roll! Let's also not forget how beautiful their bathroom is

Newly opened Japanese restaurant in Langley , operated by Koreans. They have some unique items on their menu. Very nice presentation on their food items.Food: 5/5

I just had an incredible experience at KAI. just love their real wasabi option for + $3.. it is really worth to taste it.. better than the wasabi powder based wasabi.. I ordered also mazesoba.. which was incrediblely good.. perfect texture and very good chewyness.. Sashimi KAI with 30pcs is nice for the buck... excellent freshness and excelent selection of fish.. especially hamachi and chu-toro and o-toro

Newly opened! Welcome addition to Langley restaurant scene. I previously had lunch at their PoCo branch and was excited to know they are opening a branch at Latimer Village. Visited them tonight and as expected the food is great! The place is brand new and well-designed. I also commend their service. Although some of their staff are still undergoing training, they were attentive and accomodating. I had the appetizer tempura. So crispy and tasty. I recommend their chicken teriyaki, it's above par with the same dish of other Japenese restaurants in the area. I love the fresh veggies in it. I also took home their beef teriyaki and karaage. My wife said they were really good! Go visit them at Latimer Village on 200th St. before you reach the Highway 1 interchange. Lots of parking at the basement then take the elevatir, 1 flight up.

Just as Coquitlam location, this Langley location also is excellent. From service to food quality, I don’t think it could be much better than what you get from Kai. Most of their menu are well thought of and delivered. Place is also neat and clean. Their rolls are great, and so are their oshi. Top notch stuff. Their dons are also very tasty.
