This place is ADORABLE!!! Not only do they have tasty sushi at great prices, they have the BEST decor!!!! A place that must be visited when cons happen again......The staff are friendly and sweet, I feel like their food is truly made with love. Highly Recommend!

Hidden gem in Langley. We always order takeout and eat here for sushi. We love how fresh the food is here. It’s prepared by an elderly man and is family owned. They’re so friendly and always give us a free roll! We always appreciate the hospitality here :

We ordered pick up last night as we were picking up our daughter from the airport at YVR. The food was perfect, well presented, Tempura assortment was hot & fresh, all of the rolls were delicious. Our first time ordering here, we will be back, plus they dropped a free roll on us as well! Service & quality were perfect, rave review from the family!

This is the sushi place I crave! There are so many places but the freshness in the delicious rolls and meals makes Akane my #1 sushi place. The owners are the finest around but are fortunately able to slow down their appearances and don't work everyday.. but the standards they set are met every time I return with other chef's creations. Authentic, professionally made sushi sold here! Love the ambiance too of the restaurant as they have supported many people and artists and there are thank-you's for you to appreciate their impact on the community. The quality is great and I really hope it stays that way no signs of slowing down because it would be difficult to find an equal sushi establishment. When I get it to-go the food is always carefully prepared and packaged. A habit that hasn't gone unnoticed ; You don't want to gamble with sushi and Akane is a sure bet

Ordered takeout, two dinner boxes vegetables & sashimi. I’m not where all the great reviews are from, but the food is terrible. The fillings in the gyoza had gone bad, the bean sprouts under the teriyaki is sour. The rice is so hard probably days old. The worst is they can’t even boil edamame right. It’s not fully cooked. And the rolls, gosh they probably rolled in whatever is left. Nothing is fresh even the soy sauce taste funny.

Rainbow Roll and California Roll are my “go to” rolls and they are excellent at Akane. Nice and fresh, always on time for take out and the staff are super friendly. Best in Langley! Parking: Plenty of close parking
