Asakusa

Yesterday I was passing by this restaurant. I was starving and decided to stop by and take sushi home. What can I tell you? This is a cute, cozy sushi restaurant. Many people make orders here. Everything is clean and beautiful. They quickly accepted my order and asked me to wait 15 minutes. I came and my order was fulfilled. Everything was very tasty. Thanks guys. Parking: Huge parking

First time back ordering food from here in over two years. Love being able to sit in the booths. The tea is great and the quality of the food is still the same. Really yummy and fresh! I got the tofu teriyaki along with a bunch of other things. So delish!

It was first time to visit here and it was wonderful restaurant. I ordered beef yakisoba, sashimis and some rolls. Beef yakisoba was so delicious and well fried. Also the noodle was not too soggy or too dried. I really liked it. Rolls and sashimis were fresh and delicious too. If I lived in nearby this restaurant, I would visit everyday.

First time ordering take out for a family dinner and the quality & presentation was so good. Sashimi was fresh, unagi aburi was my favourite. The price is also very affordable for its quality. Probably one of the best quality sushi places in town.

The service and food here was amazing! I came here with the fam jam and I was shocked how great this place is. A hidden gem. The presentation simply amazing and the food was delicious. You must eat here. I will be back.

Really fresh sashimi. The rolls are also delicious! Will definitely come back with some more!

First time ordering online. Food was prepared quickly. Staff was very friendly and organized at pick-up. Deep fried salmon roll was delectable although personal preference is a little crispier Daughter’s rolls were also very good. Conveniently located; we are happy to have such good sushi close by.

This is the house I would like to recommend most recently in sushi. Both the sushi and the vegetables were fresh, the tempura was so fresh, and the taste of teriyaki was excellent. What I felt good was that the staff were so kind and friendly. I want to come back with my acquaintances next time.Food: 4/5

We did a test of two local sushi restaurants that we’d pegged as our favourites: called and ordered at the same time, the same dishes, and compared cost, pickup speed, and rated each dish against each other… only one of the five of us knew which dish belonged to which restaurant. Sushi Asakusa won in each category but one single dish! So, it became our new go-to. My only critique, and it’s a recent one… is that we had an error with an order. They’d given us salmon sashimi instead of the tuna sashimi we’d ordered/paid for. We called to inform them, and they told us to come back and bring the salmon to get a replacement. Obviously we had no problem with this, but I’m still a little unsettled by returning food… and not being totally confident it won’t be re-used. Also slightly irritated by having to spend more time/gas on an exchange of their own issue, with no real apology or attempt to “make it right”. The two adults in our household have both had past restaurant work experience, and this isn’t what we’re used to providing to customers we had, for food safety or customer service. We’ve been turned off by getting food here since, but the food itself is delicious and the chef always waves a pleasant hello when we walk in.

I am in love with Asakusa! As a student I don’t have much money to spend weekly, so this restaurant is a life saver. I spend $5 and some change on a California roll and it is fresh, made right in front of you, and yummy. They are Uber quick and all the workers are super friendly and make you feel comfortable. And even though it’s affordable, you will not get sick or feel sick. Very clean too and the floors don’t feel sticky or have food on them. 5/5 totally recomend.
