Just finished dinner here and it was amazing. The food was melt in your mouth delicious. And service was great and attentive. Simple and quiet environment to enjoy your meal. Best little touch was the sushi master noticing that I was left handed and switched my setting so it was easier to pick up my sushi pieces. That never happened anywhere else and it was such a nice and appreciated gesture.

Got takeout here and was pleasantly surprised about how friendly the owner and staff were. The atmosphere inside was beautiful and watching the chefs prepare the sushi was mesmerizing. I was given tea while waiting for my takeout to be made and when the food came, I was amazed by the attention to detail. For the actual food, the sushi was buttery and exquisitely made. The udon noodles were not as good as the sushi but still well made. For the price, the sushi quality was definitely worth it.

It is a great restaurant. The place is beautifully designed with focus on the food. A friend recommended so I tried. Definitely will come back. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful and professional. I enjoyed learning about various aspects of traditional sushi and techniques of preparation of the food. Wow, this is an absolutely the best Omakase in Markham. I can suggest to everyone. Authentic Japanese Omakase in town. Came here twice after a lot recombination from friends and definitely I can guarantee it worth every penny. All the fish cuts is very fresh and delicious. All the portion are perfect and the chef really knows how to prepare each dishes. You are fan of Japanese cuisine just come here and enjoy your time. I definitely recommend this place.

If you're looking for a sushi experience with the best atmosphere, look no further than Sushi Gin! My husband and I came here for lunch today as this was probably the only restaurant in the area that we haven't yet tried. From the moment we stepped in, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were immediately greeted and seated. The service was excellent. My cup was filled with authentic green tea throughout. In terms of pricing, this place ranges from affordable to on the pricier side depending on what you order; for instance, you could order the basic sushi set, Udon or don all for $25 and under each or omakase for $170. It would entirely depend on what you order. I ordered the deluxe sashimi set $60 and my husband ordered the deluxe sushi set $55. It was definitely quality over quantity. I think this is a hidden gem that more people need to know about. It is such a breath of fresh air compared to the restaurants around it and it truly offers a very relaxing and pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend it.

Amazing omakase experience here at Sushi Gin with Chef Kevin Li. Beautiful dining room design, atmosphere and comfort. Service was top notch by all the servers and staff. With their omakase menu starting at $170/ person, this is one of my top choices in the area. They also offer a wide selection of carefully selected sake and Japanese beers and whiskeys also available to better your dining experience. All the ingredients were fresh and handled with care. The presentation and delivery by Chef Kevin Li was wonderful. Each item was well explained and plates cleaned up after. Thank you for the amazing experience, hope to visit again soon!
