Sushi Castle

I came here the other day with my wife, we were hungry and indecisive but finally decided on Sushi Castle and am I ever glad we did! Not that I ever found it bad but it really seemed to step up its game this time. The menu is fantastic with pictures of everything getting us more and more hungry looking at it. The food was as good as it looked if not better. The service was absolutely outstanding in every way possible. We were beyond impressed and will certainly come back for another great experience I’m sure. 6 stars if I could!

Everything was great, except for the chicken teriyaki rolls - those just tasted like microwaved chicken with sauce drizzled over it. Skip the teriyaki rolls - many other menu items that are much better salmon sushi and the cucumber avocado rolls were good.

This place was very smokey and cramped inside and it was hard to eat in. The rolls had a lot of rice and the fish tasted fishy. For a place at Morgan Crossing, I expected a little more. The server was very friendly and everything was quick. No complains about that.

Not even sure if it was a kitchen error or if their food is just this bad, but this was the experience we had: tuna gomae was a few pieces of sinewy tuna covered in green onion. No hint of spinach or sesame sauce AKA gomae. Teriyaki chicken rice was a bland boiled? piece of skinless chicken breast with some teriyaki sauce drizzled on top.

Amika offered very friendly and attentive service. 5 stars for that! The special rolls is good value, but heavy and greasy unfortunately.

The food was good and service friendly. It’s interesting place as it’s located in the very modern shopping centre: however the interior tables, chairs , counters are very used.

Messed up my order. Was given bc roll not California roll. Gomae sauce was grey and not brown as it should be. Tasted terrible and threw away. First and last time I order here.

Best sushi I've had in a long time, and that's saying something as I used to work in a seafood restaurant. I wasn't expecting great sushi since it's in a shopping centre and there aren't a lot of choices, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sashimi was very fresh and everything tasted amazing. Service could have been more earnest, but polite staff and clean space. Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area! Make sure to have cash as it's cash only. :

Love how they replace the artificial crab meat with cucumber slices, Crunchy and healthy! As some of the one stars stated the tempura has cinnamon flavor, it is true but only in the dipping sauce but not on the batter. Highly recommended for ppl don't appreciate fake crab meat and mayonnaise on sushi.
