I love coming to this place. Funny thing is I always come here on a Sunday while hung over. This place always fixes me up. Everyone is always super nice and always takes the time to greet their guests and have a short conversation. The chef is the new owner, nicest person ever!!
My family and I are very sorry for the closing of this good restaurant and friendly staff. We enjoyed so much the great food and service. All the best to all the Más que solo team.. Blessings, From our family....
I had the dinner beef special which consisted of a small salad, a little pile of very tough shredded beef and rice. Very disappointed. Maybe some other dishes might be better because there seems to be some good reviews but I won't be finding out because I won't be going back.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! I placed a couple of orders for the MasQueSolo Tray so I could take it up to Trail for a visit with family. The owner wanted to make sure it was made up fresh for the long drive to Trail and I was totally blown away when he said he would go in early the morning of our trip to prepare the trays. What outstanding customer service!!!! The food was the best I've ever eaten and my family devoured it. Thank you so very much!!! This is the only place that I will order Japanese food from now on.
Waitress is great and friendly. Presentation is excellent. Restaurant is clean and neat. The Crunch Sushi Rice is fantastic. First time seeing it on the menu and I think it is their specialty. Price is a bit above average. Great place to bring date or just got for some bite.
We got a sushi platter for 4 with a variety of sushi rolls and other treats to go. Though it was a wait, the platter was fantastic and the service was great! What a lovely family owned business, recommend it any day!
The place has a very nice atmosphere and the people there are also very kind The restroom was good And now for the food It was awesome, I've never had such good udon noodles in a pan and I absolutely loved it The food is definitely worth the price And the sushi is very good and you get A LOT of it as well I also live that they serve free rice tea which tastes very good I think they also have Japanese ice cake
Been going there for years, the family is always such a joy to be around and interact with, friendly and generous. Definitely my favorite little place to reconnect to my home, as they haven't changed since I was a kid, and I've been in Cloverdale for 26 years... always so comforting <3 thank you guys for always being there!
Best tuna I have found. Seems well run since the change up despite missing OEC's generosity and super nice staff. Still good staff and good sushi. Sushi seems a bit fresher and the tuna here is my favorite BUT it is very expensive, used to be 3$ and under for tuna maki every where but this along with a couple other places charge 4$+ per tuna roll now. Makes it less likely to grab a quick meal and more a special treat now. Overall though a fantastic place.
