Aji Sushi Family Kitchen

O stars. This was the worst sushi experience I have ever had in my life. Ordered off Uber Eats and the wait time was over two hours and they told me it would be less. She asked if I wanted spoons for the soup and she never gave me any spoons.. The Miso soup had no tofu or seaweed, it was just really pungent beef broth with sliced green onion. Gross. The California rolls had no mayo mixed, it was just dry crab that all fell apart when you ate it. The soy sauce was watered down or something it was nasty. I have never had soy sauce that tasted like it had zero salt. $60 and two hours of my life I will never get back. SAVE YOUR MONEY! The absolute worst.

This place is NEVER open. When I say, never, I actually mean never. I live up the street and come to the complex often to either grab Subway or Starbucks and not once in the hundreds of times I’ve driven by on different days and times of the day, have I seen it open. Makes me wonder…

I wish I had read the reviews here first. Absolutely TERRIBLE! The food took over 3 hours to arrive, bad customer service and food was just bad. Even worse, items were not clearly labeled on the website and a sushi marked as vegan had dairy cream cheese on it! Just don't waste your time and money ordering from this place. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Ordered through uber eats and it arrived after 2 hours. Overpriced food because food quality is not delicious and not fresh. Customer service is the worst too. Did not even apologize for making us wait long. Packaging is not professional some food were just placed in a plastic plate covered by another plastic plate and plastic cling wrap.

The food was decent but omg the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. I ordered off Uber eats and it took just over 3 hours to get here and I live about a 10min dive away. I called the restaurant after 2 hours and they didn’t pick up but then a lady called my and said my Uber driver will be there soon. However, she then proceeded to ask if I want wasabi, soy sauce, or utensils meaning they hadn’t even got my order started. The food does not warrant such wait times on a Monday night. I ordered 2 and a half hours before closing and my food arrived 30 min after closing. Crazy but the delivery person from the restaurant was sweet and followed instructions well.

This is not a sushi restaurant at all. This is how my SALMON SASHIMI look like. Just like a frozen salmon, then randomly cut and send to me. Totally ridiculous.

Absolutely 0 star if I could. Just ordered some sashimi, yes only sashimi. Ordered from Uber eats, Tooks more than 3 hours to get. My home is only 15 min drive from there. Food taste unfresh, if I didn't order from them today I'll never know there's such a terrible restaurant in Surrey. Rediculous!

This food was absolutely horrible! Took over 2 hours to arrive, the tuna was spoiled, the avocado was brown slime, and the beef teriyaki was like beef jerky with a spit of sweet soy sauce. NEVER ORDER THIS. I have had better day old gas station sushi.

I had placed an order through Uber and it said it would be delivered by the restaurant within 60-90 minutes. When it was 20-30 minutes past the ETA I had reached out to the restaurant. The first person I talked to said they did not have a delivery person for the night and the second person said maybe it was a far delivery google maps said 15 minutes. The person on the phone then instructed me to cancel my order via Uber eats which will not allow me to do so due to it still being “out for delivery”. I was not impressed by the lack of communication as well as the staff could have rejected the order or could have called me within that 60-90 minutes to let me know. Overall I have now wasted 3 hours waiting and dealing with this establishment. The staff was not even apologetic. It was a bad experience and I do not recommend anyone wasting their time and ordering from here.

Food was terrible. Oh...so bad. I love Katsu so I was happy to find a local place that delivered it. The katsu that I received was very thin pieces of pork some parts didn't even contain any meat with terrible breading that tasted very off. I only managed to eat about two pieces and had to throw the rest away. I genuinely hope that the restaurant fixes these dire mistakes because I do love supporting local small businesses like this one, but the food must be of good quality.
