Sushi King House

If you love sushi and want something that gives a bang for your buck in terms of filling you up, this is the place. My son could not finish a spicy tuna roll and spicy Salmon roll because the portion is huge. Never has that ever happened before .

Terrible food. Waited almost half an hour for my food, only 6 people in the restaurant. Dirty, smelly place, tempura is starchy and served with bottled sauce. Beef teriyaki was not even warm but room temperature. Was probably sitting for 15 minutes before I got it. People that say this is one of the best sushi places around obviously have no idea what sushi is. The bento box I ordered said 4 pcs of sashimi. It came with one tuna one salmon, toro and a piece of cooked ebi?? How is this sashimi? Nikko sushi a block away is far better I will never go to this place again!

My favorite Japanese restaurant here in Canada. Good value for food since it’s affordable and have a decent amount of food per order.Plus, they have a nice server. Bento Box A Beef Teriyaki and Takoyaki are the best here!

This was truly some of the best, if not the best sushi I've ever had. The rice was ultra fresh and soft and the rolls were HUGE. The owner/chef was adorably attentive and chatty. We will definitely go back for more! And the ginger was golden not pink!

Good value for the money. I would have given this review 4 Stars, but the service wasn't very good. The restaurant was under staffed. However, the waitress was very nice. The portions are large- some of the biggest rolls I've eaten! The prawn tempura was crispy but not greasy. If I'm in the area, I'll stop in for another meal.

The food is consistently tasty, presented well, and the portions abundant. The staff is always warm and welcoming. My wife and l visit frequently, often bringing friends or family, and love it every time. The full name is SUSHI KING HOUSE, as shown on their take-out menu. Lots of free parking and it's probably right on bus route. Enjoy!

Staff always friendly. Portion sizes are huge. Good quality food. Prices are affordable. We don't go anywhere else for sushi.

Honestly, highly dissapointed. I read all these raving reviews on how good the service is, how large and tasty the food is. Well a collegue and I went for lunch and it was both of our worst experience with Sushi to date and we like our sushi. The food took over 35 minutes to get to us, we were first ones there yet somehow 5 other tables got food before us, and to top it off the rolls were large alright! Too darn large to eat! I recommend other sushi places in the area over this one hands down. Maybe we just went on an off day for them, but I will not be giving them another opportunity to prove otherwise anytime soon.

The portion is generous but not overwhelming. The lady is welcoming and there's regulars chatting with her both times I went. Their beef ramen broth could use a little less sugar but it's not bad.

The Sushi King House franchise can be told it grew up with me. Ive been eating at SKH since 2000. Since moving into Surrey a few years ago only recently I found out there was a SKH here. Boy has the quality of the food gone down. The imitation crab theyre using is of poor quality, pre-frozen and dried out. Not sure if mayo is that expensive these days, i remember they used to mix it into the crab meats. There were almost no mayo in the chopped scallop as well. Rice portions are still crazy big but the fish etc has shrunk significantly. Overall im not sure if it is this location only. Really got my hopes up too high, kinda down about driving 15 minutes to get the food. Hope they can really revamp this.
