Dinner was great. Service was pretty good to start, but dropped a bit as business got busy. Plenty of attentive servers, generally. Not hard to get their attention when they are busy. Food came pretty quickly and tasted so great. Items like the signature salad dish were pretty imaginative. Everything was plated beautifully and tasted great. Plenty of free Semiahmoo Mall parking, especially if you are willing to walk a little further. Great choice if you want to eat Japanese cuisine in White Rock. Parking: Plenty of free mall parking.
There was a short ten minute wait for a table, but we got in quickly and they called us when the table was ready. The menu has lots of different options and some good combination choices. The rolls are freshly made and everything came out very quickly and the tempura was hot and crispy. The decor and atmosphere is great, but the flashing twinkling lights became a bit much after a while. Delicious sushi and next time I'm in white rock, I will definitely be back.
The aburi sushi blew me away! Very high quality and beautifully presented. I will certainly have to order more next time! Black cod was marinated in miso and made an excellent choice as an appetizer. Be careful of the bones when eating. I was impressed by the polite service and how quickly everything was prepared. The restaurant is cozy and well decorated. Great job Sapporo!
Excellent location. It was easy to find and there was parking close by. Our waitress was very sweet and welcoming. She took the time to answer all our questions about the menu and gave us excellent recommendations. The Tonkatsu ramen was a hit! The broth was rich and flavourful and the toppings and noodles were delicious. My wife said it's the best ramen she's ever had! You can even pick a side to go with the ramen for free so we picked 2 pieces of gyoza. Aburi sushi and caterpillar roll were also delicious and went well with the ramen. Highly recommend visiting :
Now our fave! First time to visit with the family and we loved everything! My top fave was the Salmon Oshi but everything was delicious and top notch. The place was lit too making your photos look great. Reasonably priced too and the servings are pretty decent. A hidden gem in South Surrey, we will surely be back :
A good Japanese restaurant in the area. I have been to other 4 Japanese places between White Rock and South Surrey and this was the only one that made me come back 3x already. Their beef teriyaki could come hither, but their tempura and sushi are nice Kid-friendliness: Many families dinning in Parking: Lots of parking. The place is attached to the Semiahmoo Mall Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, next to parking.
This restaurant is a higher end Japanese restuarant. It is definitely not a pocket in the wall type of food place. Reasonably priced food. The menu has a wide variety of uncooked and cooked dishes to choose from. This restaurant has high turnover as it is very busy. The ambiance was great especially with the lights twinkling in the ceiling for the xmas season. I felt like I was eating under the stars. So beautiful! Dinning in felt like a true authentic Japanese restaurant compared to many other japanese and sushi restaurants I have been to. Great food and nice portion size. The restaurant was very clean. Good value for money. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want Japanese food. Chicken teriyaki bento was awesome. I will be back for sure. Good job

Great food! Super friendly service and really fast after you order, to get your food, With no wait time! We had a wonderful experience and the restaurant was really nice inside too. All nice small touches. Great portions and wonderful food. Highly recommend.
Great sushi! Consistently fresh and delicious. Their rolls are big and packed with delicious ingredients. Service is very friendly and fast. I highly recommend visiting here for a taste of some of the best sushi in town!
