Damiko Sushi

Great service and really good Japanese food. We had the sushi boat, which comes with miso soup and an we ordered an extra rainbow role. This was too much for two. All the rolls were delicious and the Sashimi was well proportioned. The temperature portion was also decent, crispy and served piping hot. Over all some of the best Japanese food I had in a long time. Vegetarian options: Tempura and some vegetarian rolls Parking: In front of restaurant and possible on the other side of the street or in the big Canadian Tire parking lot

I like their avocado rolls and their use of black and brown rice. Staff are nice and I like they put a lot of filling. I also like that there are a lot of tables that are enclosed in small rooms. It feels very private. Personal favourite sushi place around. Not gonna choose anywhere else for a while!

Super super disappointed! Have been going here for years. Picked up today and learned their prices went up substantially. Understand a price increase…supply chain, etc. However, you better deliver on quality! Almost $2 per order of edamame ??? That’s a lot! and $2 for Sashimi. Thing is…my edamame order was 3/4 of an order and Sashimi Salmon paper thin! Guess it’s time to move in to somewhere else!

Not too bad, lunch time has some special combos and they’re a nice generous size. I got the appetizer + roll combo and got a chicken karaage with a spicy ichi roll. The chicken karaage was very crispy and delicious!

Gluten free options! No menu but very helpful and knowledgeable. Can substitute and make modifications such as fake to real crab, steamed yam instead of tempura. Spice rolls didn’t have crunchy tempura so is gf. Just such a great experience as many are confused or annoyed about questions and requests but they were patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The sushi was delicious!

Oh man, their sushi is soooo good! Rainbow rolls are my favorites now. We went there with my parents and kids. All of us enjoyed the food so much. It was fast to have the food. Customer service was excellent. The owner lady was very lovable. <3 Look at my pictures, we order so much and six of us were so full, BUT it was under $100! Highly recommend and definitely will go back soon.

Ordered a dynamite roll and noodles. Dynamite roll was terrible, it was completely falling off and tasted below average. When asked to fix the roll, she came back 10 minutes later and said “since we chopped it in 6 pieces, it would be uneven to give you one piece”. Nothing made sense, I just told her whatever. Hanaya sushi nearby is far better no reason to visit this place

Service was horrible and saw a sushi chef pick his nose. Went during lunch and there were only 2 servers working. We were sat in a booth and almost seemed we were forgetting about because we waited 10 min before anyone came. Ordered a miso ramen lunch special, edamame and a donkatsu ramen. The lunch special and edamame came. 15 min went by my husband was done his ramen and my ramen hadn’t come. Had to wait another 10 min for them to make it.

Pale tuna sashimi, undercooked prawns, no filling in cheese gyoza, the sauce for the gomae salad was off in colour and tasted extremely spicy and sour. My family has ordered from this sushi restaurant multiple times with no complaints because they have delivered good food in the past. The reason I am writing a review like this is because when I had called the restaurant to let them know the quality of the food we had received for the simple reason so another customer does not have the same experience and when I had talked to the one staff member she could care less about what I had to say and when trying to resolve the issue for a simple replacement or credit, I was interrupted and hung up on. Unfortunately we will not be coming back due to the way it was dealt with on their end.
