Steve Madden

The young woman helping me today was wonderful. I was in the market to replace my favourite Steve Madden boots as they were looking worn out. While she did show me the same boot still in stock, she did also offer to show me some products to clean and polish my existing ones as well. I really appreciated that she took the time to actually clean my boot and show me what I needed rather than up-sell me to buy a whole new pair of boots.

Super disappointed in the customer service i received here. I drove 3 hours from Kingston, On to exchange my shoes as it said online they had 4 in my size in stock. When i got to the store, i was informed they don't even make that shoe anymore, and showed no remorse when i informed them i just traveled 3 hours for those shoes. I than asked if i could get a store credit for the shoes I brought to exchange and get a different pair, which wasn't a problem until they only gave me the option to put it back on the card the shoes were bought on and they were a gift. When i explained I didn't have the card because they were a Christmas present, the employee did not say a word, but took the box out of my hand of the new shoes and walked to the back. I was frustrated to the point of tears because no one would give me any help and just kept walking away whenever i asked any questions. I than asked the girl just to refund them and i will figure it out with the person i bought the gift come. The girl rushed through it and again did not say a word. I understand every store has different regulations and there hands become tied at a certain point, but for the employees to be that disrespectful and rude is what really wrecked my experience.

Bought some shoes here that seemed fine in the store but were uncomfortable after walking in for a bit and left big black stains on my socks. Went to return them and they wouldn't take them back. Can't recommend this shoe store.

I much prefer Aldo or The Bay. The shoes at Steve Madden are very low quality and my first couple pairs from there fell apart within a month.
