I recently purchased a Santa Cruz Vala from Steed Cycles and unfortunately discovered a frame issue shortly after bringing the bike home. Obviously not something anyone wants to see on a brand new bike.nnThat said, the team at Steed handled the situation extremely professionally from start to finish. Huge thanks to Clément and Max for being responsive, understanding, and genuinely committed to making things right. No finger pointing, no runaround — just honest communication and great customer service throughout the whole process.nnWhat impressed me most was how quickly they resolved everything. They managed to get the issue sorted out and had me back on a replacement bike within a week, which honestly exceeded my expectations.nnProblems can happen with any product, especially in the bike industry. What really matters is how a shop supports their customer afterward, and Steed absolutely stood behind both the bike and the customer experience.nnReally appreciate the help from Clément, Max, and the rest of the team. Would absolutely recommend Steed Cycles to anyone looking for a high-end bicycle in Vancouver.

The best experience buying a bike ever! Hayden and Andrew the store manager guided me through the whole process. They made suggestions of bikes that fit my budget. We’re never pushy and answered all my questions. On top of that they helped getting ridewrap organized and even stored my bike till I was able to pick it up! The cherry on top was Andrew made time out of his busy day to help me set up suspention and go over my new bike with me. 11/10 Experience!

I just bought a new bike here today and I have nothing but great things to say about Steed. All of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and are happy to help answer your questions. Ella worked with me for a couple of days, answering my questions, recommending the right products that fit my needs, finalizing the purchase, and getting everything setup on my bike. Overall I had a great experience and would reccomend that you go to Steed Cycles to make your next bike or bike related purchase. Keep up the great work!

I often triple check that online inventory is actually physically on hand rather than taking it to chance an item is drop shipped or online inventory inaccuracies occur on special items.....nnThis was no exception.nCalled around 5pm their time, got voicemail. Left message as well as emailed that I was in a pinch for a specific stem that the website they said they had on hand.nnWilliam called me 2min after opening the following day and had that stem boxed up and sent out right away.nnOutstanding service.nMy bike fit has been sorted in time for my trip.nThank you Steed staff. I've purchased multiple times and always great service.nn

I’m very disappointed with how this shop handled my post‑purchase support. I originally left them a positive review and even referred two friends who bought high‑end bikes here because I believed in their service.Unfortunately, that trust didn’t hold. I was promised a complimentary tune‑up and warranty support when I bought my bike, but the shop later emailed me to say they were retracting that offer and would no longer perform any service on my bike “in any context.”They said they could order warranty parts, but I would have to pay another shop to install them. This directly contradicts what I was told at the time of purchase.After this experience, I removed my original positive review. A business should stand by its commitments, especially to loyal customers who bring them additional business. I can’t recommend this shop based on how they treated me.
