Starbucks - York Mills & Lesmill

Absolutely horrendous service here. This is the first time I’ve ever gone to a Starbucks and was refused the opportunity to use this restroom. Instead of being considerate? I was rudely asked if I purchased something. To me, that does not demonstrate providing good customer service or being accommodating. I will not be returning after a horrible encounter.

Jan 6, 2025: 4/5 starsnWe checked out the new Cortado option at Starbucks where they make it with Blonde Expresso.nnThe Starbucks Cortado was not too bad overall. It was mostly smooth with a hint of acidity.

What a day to visit when they couldn’t accept orders in store, online orders only. It was slightly chaotic but mostly calm due to great staff and excellent people around. They were understanding and helped others out. Showed the sense of community. Place does need a more frequent clean up I believe. And bins for mugs slightly away from where milk is being kept for us.

I came in, trying to order from the worker named “k”, mind you I come here all the time no problems. This is my first time seeing ms.k. Anyways. I’m very upset, usually I buy something and get 2 cups or TAP water. Mind u water from the tap. I come here today now, k is at the counter and I order and ask for 2 cups of water to also go w my order. Anywhere I go in Ontario u can get a cup of water for free no problem, I was raised and from Canada so trust me i know. She denied me 2 cups of water…nnPlease help me understand why THIS Starbucks location, mind u ONLY THIS LOCATION, is charging for TAP WATER. And I paid.

Poor experience at this joint. Had spent about 40 dollars in two days at this place, and these folks have to ask you multiple times whether you had 'ordered', before giving you water you deserve.nnIt's highly inappropriate to do that. Asking for tap water is normal in any restaurant, especially when you pay exorbitant rates for coffee and food. You should never refuse water to a guest, that's an unsaid rule.nnThis practice can reflect poorly on this company if they aren't careful.
