I went here to have a chain replaced. I was told he didn't have the appropriate chain type but he would sell me a chain that might wear faster (something like 10$ above it's cost on Amazon). I was stranded without the bike so I bought it. I asked if he could install it but he refused, telling me my bike had too many issues for him to install the chain, which I find to be a confusing attitude since none of those issues affected his ability to replace the chain. He then offered to sell me some quite expensive second-hand bikes so maybe that was what he was getting at. I had to take my bike to another shop to have the chain installed, and about 6 weeks later it snapped while I was biking near the shop. I stopped in and Graham charged me 8$ to have the chain links put back together (3 minute job?), blamed the work of the other mechanic for the chain failure, and told me that I could expect to need a replacement chain every month, while again offering to sell me a very unimpressive looking second hand speed bike for ~300$. I'm giving them 2 stars because Graham seems to have a lot of technical knowledge to where if he wanted to deliver good customer service he could but that wasn't my experience at all.

Outstanding, friendly service by a guy who tries to save you money and explains what he plans to do before he does it, and in as much detail as you like. I'd suggest that the little bunch of one-star ratings need to be looked into by Google, since they look a bit like an orchestrated attack. They seem highly implausible, and their tone seems strangely vengeful The owner and sole employee here has always been unfailingly courteous and good humored. I love that he patiently handles even my most ignorant questions and takes the time to teach me a good deal about how my bike works.

The other 5 star ratings nail it. Helpful advice, flexible purchasing options, friendly and informed service from Graham. A+

Graham deserves more than 5 star. Explains everything and offers services and parts that save your dollars. Fast, reliable and loves what he does.

Graham is a helpful guy. Be careful of the negative reviews- all seem to be from throwaway accounts. I have been trusting my family's bikes to Graham do a few years now.
