SouthSider Motel

We had a great stay here. We only stayed one night, we had to stop for the night and we're so glad we stopped here. Very personable owner with the cleanest rooms I've ever seen. I don't me just clean, I mean new kind of clean. Meticulously cared for building and rooms. I loved that it was a small place so we didn't have a lot of traffic on the grounds and people walking/talking past our room. I will definitely stay here again.

Great experience, for an even greater price! Huge screen T.V in your room and basically a walk in closet. Would recommend to anyone! Super nice staff and the owner is a super sweet man! You'll love staying here! Such a great location, anything you'll need it right there! Totally come here if your planning on staying a couple nights in coos bay! :D

Nice quiet place all rooms are nice and decent cozy the managers are really nice guys and yeah I think it's a great motel

We arrived at 9:30 pm and asked to see the room before securing the $80 payment. He said he had no pants on and the room was fine. I insisted, so he put pants on and showed us the room. He made me feel guilty but the room was OK and I tried to cheer him up. On the return trip to the office he asked if we smoked, I said yes. He said "you better not smoke in the room", I said "OK no problem". He said "he has been there 39 years and he has to deal with smoking in his rooms every single day", I said "OK no problem". He asked if I had a credit card I said yes. Then he wanted a $200 cash deposit I said no. He said then no room and I said OK thank you and left. Really $200? So we drove south to Bandon and stayed in a nice place with a nicer hotel owner. Sorry the hospitality biz has worn you down so much sir. You need to relax and have a smoke to calm your nerves. We are not bad people.
