Wonderful stay! Called for reservation at 6pm and they had a handicap room available for that night (which is what we needed). Very friendly staff, room very clean and king bed super comfy as well as pillows. Bathroom very clean and even had a facial wipe. Breakfast was a lot more than we expected, waffles, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, many breads to choose from, packaged oatmeal, then your standard fare. Well attended and clean, a lot of seating made us feel as if we were in a restaurant. Best breakfast experience we have ever had in a hotel setting! Very nice courtyard view out our back door. Totally recommend this hotel. Thank you for making the last day of our vacation pleasurable.

Loved it! I was there for an overnight job (all night job) so I wanted to be able to sleep in when I got back in the morning. I requested an extended check out. They let me have a very nice extended check-out. The bed was CRAZY COMFORTABLE!!!

I stayed here while I had family in the local hospital and the staff had exceptional customer service, they went out of their way to help me in any way I needed, the maintenance man even helped me with my luggage. This kind of service is so impressive because most people do not have it. Thank you! The property was clean and tidy.

I spent some time talking with the general manager and walking around the place. Then imposing on an employee I asked him to show me some rooms and walk me around the places the manager and I had not gone. The whole place was clean or in the process of being tidied up after guests had checked out. Staff was friendly and cheerful with everyone. I would stay here if I was from out of town.

We were driving from the Redwoods to Newport and wanted to take our time. This hotel was a pretty decent place to stop for the night. We had been staying at a lot of the Choice brand hotels throughout our month long road trip and we found the quality for the price paid across all their brands was very good. This particular one we were able to use only points to stay at, so the bill was $0. What makes this place different: The rooms! We got a ground floor room that was HUGE!! I would estimate around 600 sq ft. We parked our car at the front door and realized there was another door to the back that opened up onto a big green courtyard. Super unique! The king bed is on one side of the suite and a pull out couch on the other, making it a great spacious place to stay for families. The good: - The size of the room - Ease of access & being able to park the car outside the suite - Mall, restaurants and shops all a walking distance - Had a bigger size fridge, microwave, coffee, etc. The bad: - There was a guy standing in the parking lot for over 6 hours... just staring at the hotel. The security said we was there a lot, but there was nothing they could do about it because he was on public property. Little sketchy! - The shower in the bathroom soaked the entire floor and the walls had a but of rot from this happening over time. Needs a bathroom reno badly. Stained stucco in the tiles. With a bathroom reno, this place would have gotten 5 stars. The location, size of rooms and ease of getting in and out makes it a great road trip stop.
