Edgewater Inn Coos Bay

Been here twice now, they accept large dogs and have a place to walk them as well as back patio doors to get to the walkway. That being said that only matters if you are on the bottom floor and this is an old building. The last time I went the people above me whom I assume were doing normal hotel things, walking to the bathroom, using the TV whatever. The noise travels through these floors almost like it is amplified, made sleeping a little difficult. I would recommend the top floor if you stay here or possibly ear plugs if you stay downstairs.

Rooms were clean.. that's about it. Noisy rooms heater fan high pitch, fridge cheap and loud cycling off and on and toilet running all night long constantly up to jiggle handle for 15 mind rest ! So disappointed to pick a place off the road for some quiet and all the noise is inside. Their idea of breakfast is pastries and standard coffee n juice. NOT a breakfast at all. Continental at best. Stay at super if you want something hot at least.

Good selection on Continental breakfast. Clean, friendly & accomadating. Kid friendly. Safeway & Fred Meyer right here. Art Gallery. It's a small simple town. If you have great city type expectations it's not the place. Pet friendly as well

Loved the location right off the river. Room was nice and clean. We enjoyed our visit and will be back in the future.

I stay here all the time when I am out of town working. I am not a difficult person to please. The staff is always friendly, rooms are always clean, plenty of parking. Only saying this for for the staff here thats has always been so kind to me. It’s not a 5 Star resort so if your looking to be waited on hand and foot, or you think your the most important guest that stays at any hotel and the staff should bend over backwards for your backhanded and snatchie comments/manners don’t stay here.
