Laverne Park

I've been camping there regularly for the last 5 years and I've never felt so unwelcome by the new camp hosts. I was playing fetch in the far East field with no one around me and that host made it a mission to yell at me for not having my dog on a leash.. I already had permission to play fetch there and this guy was just an a**hole. The wife came into our camp and told us that we had "Make sure you get out by noon tomorrow." We still had 3 days left on our reservation. If those hosts are still there when I want to go camping I will go elsewhere.

An amazing park. Quite the jewel. Lots of camping spots, rarely full. Right along the river. There's a huge field to play in, as well as a large playground.

Swimming, check! Trees, check! Restrooms, check! Just need a little more privacy in the shower

Very popular place. Fishing, hiking, biking, hunting nearby. Camping.. tent and RV. Playground with ample parking.

The worst camping weekend i have had there in the last 5 years was this years park host they are super rude and disrespectful this couple makes you feel very unwelcome and hates dogs tires to kick you out for playing crads around your fire after 10 we had no music on will not be going back and not hosting my large family camp there anymore this year will go to a more respectful park that dosnt hate familys and dogs
