I had ALWAYS gone to small private practice clinics. Well they have since closed. I came here, saw Jason Harris PA, most thorough and genuine provider I have ever encountered. I can't rave about him enough. My family and I have found our new provider.  :)

My experience with the doctors and medical staff has all been wonderful. I have taken myself and my children into the walk in clinic and have been seen very quickly. The medical staff has even gone as far as to communicate with me outside of practice hours to make sure that everything was going well. I am very impressed by their professionalism and how much they truly care about their patients. I am not impressed by their front desk staff however. Between my children and myself having visited more than a handful of times , I have never one time been greeted by a front desk staff member with a "hi, how are you?" Or a smile. This saddens me as people are being seen for a number of different issues and I feel as the first face / impression you see / get of the office, it is important to be greeted with a smile. Sometimes the first face that is seen makes the biggest impression of the rest of your visit.

Sound Family Medicine's walk in clinic is fabulous. I've unfortunately had to use it for medical issues several times this year. They are always kind, considerate and helpful. Most importantly they are fast. I think the longest I've ever waited to see someone is 10 minutes. Plus, if you don't have insurance they are very inexpensive. Contrast this to an "Urgent Care" facility I just experienced in Reno. Their minimum charge was $210 and I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I had 4 people ahead of me and only one was called in. I left and visited Sound Family Medicine when I got home. I arrived 20 minutes before they closed on a Saturday and I waited only 5 minutes in the waiting room. Everyone was friendly and I have never heard the staff make disparaging remarks. I can't say enough good about them.

I really have liked the doctors i have seen. All very friendly. However i was told my test results would take only 2 days and i would be notified of the results. I tried setting up an account online, and emailed them for help doing so, never got a reply. Calling to get my results is hard due to extremly long wait times. When i did finally get thru the nurse said she has my results but the doctor has signed off on them. Told me she would try and get a call back to me. These results are really important to me and i have been really stressing about them. I explained that too. Still no results. I am extremly furstrated and dissapointed.

I've always had excellent service and care at the Hartland clinic.  There is a wait at times, but what facility doesn't when there are tons of sick people needing care?
