Sound Family Medicine

I came to SFM for a rescue inhaler, getting here right at opening. There was no one on the waiting room, and I was ushered into the patient waiting room fairly quickly. It's been over an hour, and I can hear the staff laughing and joking outside the door of my exam room. Over an hour, I'm still waiting. They were very quick to collect my co/pay however. Did they forget about me?

I wish I could give one star. The only people helpful at the people I'm the call center that don't even work at this location. Evey time I go in I am rudley greeted by the front desk girl. I don't know her name but she has red hair and I'd there all the time. She is very rude in the way she speaks to you and stuck up. On several occasions when I make later in the say appointments I have waited over an hour from my original appointment to be seen. One time I was even forgotten about In the patient room. And they started cleaning up. I would never go back.l of it wasn't 5 min from my house. Both Dr I've had have been rude and always in a hurry to get done with the appointment. These people don't care about you're experience or health they just like to argue!

I was very pleased with my service the other day. I checked in and waited about 10 minutes until I was brought back, and then after the MA did all her questioning I waited about 10 minutes before the doctor came in. Dr. Allen listened to everything I had to say and was very proactive in getting me the appropriate medications and explained everything well. I was sent downstairs for a chest X-ray and by the time I left the building it had been an hour and 20 minutes total. I had seen so many negative reviews I was worried for my first time in the walk in clinic but I was pleasantly surprised and happy I went.

Called ahead to the Bonney Lake walking clinic to check the wait times before I came in. Checked in for a DOT physical and was told the wait was 30-45 minutes. Waited for 2 1/2 hours, finally I was called back to see the doctor and was informed that there was no one who was DOT certified there today and that I would have to go to another clinic. The reason for two stars is because the Heartland Clinic rushed me through and was very apologetic for my experience. I have been coming to Sound Family Medicine for over 20 yrs. And the service and wait times have definitely gotten worse.

I went into the walk in clinic last Thursday with severe flank pain and a fever of 101.5. I thought I had a kidney infection which I told the receptionist when I was checking in. They had me give a urine sample and when I was finally seen by Dr. Victor Harris he asked how many times I have had this (I thought he was talking about kidney infection) which I have had several before. He said "no kidney stones". Well he gave me a script for pain and ordered a CT scan for me to have done. The next morning I went and had my CT scan done all the while I'm having major pain and fevers. When I finally got the results on Saturday it turned out there were no kidney stones! I knew something was wrong. I checked myself into the ER and ended up being hospitalized for four days! I had a UTI, kidney infection, sepsis, low potassium and a high white blood cell count. I am very upset with my visit to this clicic and will not be going back. I was obviously mis diagnosed. Their solution to the first CT scan was they wanted me to get another CT scan but I had to wait until around the end if the month due to my insurance. I could have died from the sepsis if I waited any longer like they wanted me to!!
