I have brought a few friends here, for various reasons & am impressed with the personal touches used by these professionals. Better signage to coordinate with "maps" would be great! Good thing the mark the buildings; just not which side is best. Parking can be a pain. There is s garage, & this building seems to be a pass through.
After being ignored last week and treated badly at St. Anthony's it was a breath of fresh air to come to Allenmore. I've been experiencing left side and back pain for 2 weeks and after being told nothing was wrong with me at St. Anthony's, the wonderful staff and doctor tell me I actually have pneumonia. St. Anthony didn't do a swab for flus or an ecg. But the amazing nurses and doctors here did. It was pretty quick too for a busy night. Around 5 hours for all the tests and some IV antibiotics before I was on my way home. They treated me like a person and that's so important. I'm definitely coming back here even if it takes an extra 20 minutes going over the narrows. Thank you Allenmore ER doctors & nurses.
Today my husband had eye surgery at Allenmore. We had never been there. We were pleasantly surprised by all the friendly staff at door & registration. The nurse assistance & nurses , including Heather, Lori, were great . Explaining the procedure & what to expect. Doctor Banta made us feel comfortable. The hospital is extremely clean & all safety procedures were followed. The antithetical team was great. We were very impressed.
The nurses, surgeons, EVERY staff member including housekeeping here was incredibly kind and did a fantastic job taking care of me and keeping me comfortable for 2 nights and a surgery. All while being screamed at by other patients for things out of their control and running around just trying to keep up! Thank you all so much for being so wonderful!
Best hospital I've been to! Staff was kind and friendly, knowledgeable and always kept me informed. They were happy to jump on my every need with a quickness. My nurses were all amazing and did their best to make me comfortable. Thank you all and bless you
I thought other hospitals were bad. My body is in shock, I've been throwing up while waiting, it's been 4 hours with no care whatsoever. The nurse was rude and condescending. A lady had been waiting with a broken arm since coming by ambulance for at least 2 hours. This place reeks of neglect. You're better off learning how to treat your own ailments than trusting your I'll health in the hands of this ER.
By far the worst hospital I've ever been to. My aunt was in the ICU and "Patty" was her nurse. She was extremely rude, passive aggressive, sarcastic and unprofessional. She was being rough with my aunt who couldn't speak for herself or move. When I asked her for help she told me "your aunt can wait" she was disrespectful to my whole family and has NO business being a nurse, completely lacks empathy. On top of that the security guards were RUDE harassing my whole family!! The staff is horrible, stay away from this place!! My aunt passed away and I hope the staff feels horrible for the way they treat people who are already grieving!!
My aged parents insist on going to this hospital. The staff are very nice. However, visits to the room by staff are much less than other hospitals, communication with family of patient almost nonexistent. You manage alot of your loved one's care yourself. After talking to staff several times about my mother's need for dementia meds, nothing, just silence. My mom was agitated and panicked for almost her entire stay for covid illness. Go somewhere else.
Wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. Unfortunately it's the closest emergency room. Extremely unprofessional people. The people at the front desk were not wearing masks, and laughed at the injury in front of them. They continued to laugh when another patient having a heart attack was coming in. Severely lacks the caring and compassion you so proudly post all over the walls.
I came to emergency with symptoms, such as red, itching eye, sore throat, neck ache and fever. I was examined by nurse only, and she told to wait a provider. I have waited for 40 minutes with fever and nobody called my name. Also, we’re people, that gone and freed the line. But it didn’t speed up nobody. my condition worsened and I decided to go home. I’m disappointed, very very bad medicine
