Sonder Rideau is in a great location that is walkable to major attractions and other areas. The property has great customer service and felt safe with their numerical pin system instead of tangible keys. Rooms were wonderfully sized with a kitchenette, fridge and other amenities. Download the user friendly App with all the info you need with features readily accessible. I highly recommend and look forward to staying here in the future! Thank you again for the wonderful stay!
Stayed at Sonder Rideau on Laurier street , best location , for my second time this year . We have to say the staff are most friendly and welcoming.nThey are very accommodating. They go out their way to help you .nThis is a very quiet & clean location .nClose to Parliament Hill & the downtown areanAll walking distance . So scenic .nSecurity codes to get in the building & elevators , which makes you feel safe .nThe apartments we stayed in come fully equipped with all amenities.nVery spacious and comfortable.nWe cannot say enough about the staff here .nThank you ,
They took a very interesting innovative approach to the hotel business. You install an app on your phone, and you use it for everything - checking in/out, report an issue, request a cleaning, etc. It seems like a very efficient way to do things, and no doubt this way Sonder was able to reduce costs of running business significantly.nYet the quality of service is up to high standards. The room 1b suite actually is in very good condition, everything is clean, everything is working. The kitchen is really fully equipped with every appliance and utensils you may need. We’ve enjoyed our 6 days there, and would stay there again.
We stayed at Sonder Rideau as a family for 23 days, and we loved it! The staff is amazing and very helpful. The supervisors A. J. and Caleb were so attentive, and were always there when we needed them. The hotel is walking distance to the Parliament Hill and the city center and its major attractions, like the Rideau Center and the Rideau Canal. It is only 100 meters to two large grocery stores, and the room has everything you need if you want to cook your own food. Though it's in the city center, it feels and is indeed so secure. Our room was generously sized 54 m2, and we felt like we were in a small-sized house. It was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I extend my gratitude to the staff that made our stay a pleasant one.
This hotel is located in the downtown core, conveniently close to main tourist attractions, the Rideau Canal, and the Rideau Shopping Centre. The room itself was spacious, with a large queen-sized bed and even a small kitchen area. Overall, everything was good, but the biggest issue was the noise from the hallways. The suite door was smaller than the door frame, so you could hear everything happening outside. If you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Aside from that, it’s a very secure hotel, with security codes required for both the entrance and the elevator.
