They were extremely busy. We had to wait 1.5 hours to check in for the room which wasn't ready and it started off bad. They quickly compensated us for that and the room was excellent and very spacious. Pool is very nice as well and has good deep ends. Nice gym area as well. Breakfast was okay they have plenty of options. Underground parking is available. 10 minutes walk from the parliament buildings.
Great location downtown! Very close to the O train station..Everything was within walking distance. The staff were very friendly. I requested an early check in and they accommodated the request ..which was very nice..The room was clean. I had the river view room..the view was good. Quite spacious as well..the bed was very comfortable . Overall the experience was good!nnIf I have to mention negatives... the conditioner was emptyI found out after I got in the shower , there were no toiletries and the toilet paper quality could have been better..which isn't really a big deal anyway!nnBut on the whole a very nice hotel..definitely would stay here again..
Rooms were clean. Bar staff excellent. Loved every meal I had there. Good location. Parking garage is a bit challenging. I got lost the first day. Lol. Breakfast could be better. Omelette every day. I prefer scrambled with a side meat. Most places of this caliber offer that. Overall pretty good stay. I can’t say enough how kind and helpful the staff was.
This place was recommended for me by my friend who experienced an amazing service during her stay. I trusted her words and booked this place for my three days trip to Ottawa.nnReached in the morning and requested early check in and an hour late check-out. They were fully booked due to events going on around that time of the week so they asked me to wait. The check in time is in the afternoon but they tried and accommodated me an hour early although it was too tight for them.nnGot the room keys, check-in process was smooth and quick. Entered my room and felt so cosy and relaxed. Everything was nice and clean. The view was beautiful from the window. The only lacking was the TV didn’t connected with my phone as it was an older model.nnThe place is located at a good location. The train station is just steps away, many tourists attractions are at a walking distance. The hotel was very busy yet the floor was very quiet.nnThe staff at the reception were very helpful and courteous. My overall experience was really good. I highly recommend this place to stay if you’re solo or travelling with your family or friends or for work.
This was the final stop during a trip that took me to several Hilton's across Canada, which was fortunate as this Hilton seems to set the standard by which all others should* be operating.nnFrom the point of checking in to checking out, every staff member was courteous, friendly, and efficient.nnThe hotel restaurant; Tulip, is phenomenal. The meals are competitive with any nearby dining choice, and the desserts are both delicious and presented superbly.nnThe vegan chocolate mousse and the Creme Brulee are amazing, unfortunately I ate one of them too quickly to photograph.
