Great hotel, stellar service & strategically located across the street from the Kyoto train station. They have an automated check in/out which is highly efficient. But with mobility issues, I needed a room close to the elevators to reduce walking for me. I was very impressed with the help that I got from Antoine, one of the staff members who was helping guests with the automated process. He couldn't do enough for me. He arranged to have my room changed so that it was accessible for me and carried my bags up to my room for me. I felt like a valued guest from the start of my stay until my departure. Many staff speak English.
They were extremely busy. We had to wait 1.5 hours to check in for the room which wasn't ready and it started off bad. They quickly compensated us for that and the room was excellent and very spacious. Pool is very nice as well and has good deep ends. Nice gym area as well. Breakfast was okay they have plenty of options. Underground parking is available. 10 minutes walk from the parliament buildings.
Very happy with the hotel overall. The breakfast could have been little better, but was included in the room rate. I wouldn’t want to pay for the breakfast separately as I’m sure there are better places to eat near by. Location was great though we also had a car rental so we were not limited in where we went.
Great location downtown! Very close to the O train station..Everything was within walking distance. The staff were very friendly. I requested an early check in and they accommodated the request ..which was very nice..The room was clean. I had the river view room..the view was good. Quite spacious as well..the bed was very comfortable . Overall the experience was good!nnIf I have to mention negatives... the conditioner was emptyI found out after I got in the shower , there were no toiletries and the toilet paper quality could have been better..which isn't really a big deal anyway!nnBut on the whole a very nice hotel..definitely would stay here again..
My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was exceptional, especially as an Indigenous person who often hopes for a welcoming environment. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and respected throughout my stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service, it was clear they value inclusivity and make every effort to create a space that respects all backgrounds. The room was clean, cozy, and well-appointed, and I appreciated the small touches that made me feel right at home. I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn for anyone looking for genuine hospitality and a supportive atmosphere. Thank you for making my stay memorable and respectful.
