This is the worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced in a pharmacy. I had some prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy due to this however than one ran out of refills and I still had prescriptions that are showing as active in my shoppers account. The person on the phone kept insisting that I didn’t have prescriptions there even if I could see them in my account, when asked if the pharmacist can do an emergency refill then while I go to a clinic for a new prescription she didn’t even bother asking the pharmacist before saying it couldn’t be done.nnI am now left with no medication, severe withdrawal symptoms and having to find a clinic that will take me for a prescription.nnThe administrative side of this pharmacy is chaos. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.
My recent trip to Shoppers Drug Mart around 9pm presented a somewhat mixed experience that captured the essence of its bustling late-night appeal. The store was alive with activity, undoubtedly a testament to its popularity even during those hours. While I was ultimately able to locate my desired items, a few observations left me with a slightly conflicted impression.nnAs I stepped into the store, the throng of fellow shoppers navigating the aisles was hard to miss. It was evident that Shoppers Drug Mart continues to serve as a go-to destination for a diverse range of needs, regardless of the hour. The vibrant atmosphere and the hustle and bustle of patrons added a dynamic energy to the shopping environment.nnHowever, my enthusiasm was tempered by the store’s appearance, which seemed a tad unkempt. Throughout my journey, I noticed occasional disarray on the shelves and areas that could use a bit of tidying up. While this didn’t necessarily hinder my ability to locate the items on my list, it did contribute to an overall perception of the store feeling slightly disorganized.nnThe pharmacy, in particular, stood out as a focal point of activity. It was abundantly clear that the pharmacy staff were working tirelessly to cater to the needs of a high number of customers. Unfortunately, this appeared to be a double-edged sword, as the influx of visitors seemed to outpace the available resources. The pharmacy was noticeably busy, and it gave off an impression of being understaffed, resulting in extended waiting times and an air of busyness that permeated the area.
Extremely Disappointing Customer ServicennI have visited this Shopper's Drug Mart multiple times, and unfortunately, my experiences have consistently been subpar. The main issue revolves around the appalling customer service provided by both the pharmacy staff and assistants.nnThe pharmacists and assistants often seem disinterested in helping customers, engaging in casual conversations with each other instead of attending to those in need. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed a lack of professionalism, with staff members ignoring customers and leaving them waiting for extended periods, even when the store isn't busy.nnToday's visit was particularly frustrating. I approached an assistant for assistance with a simple request, only to be abruptly dismissed and told to wait for the pharmacist. The pharmacist, unfortunately, displayed a similar lack of attentiveness, making it clear that my concerns were not a priority.nnThe wait times, despite the store not being busy, are consistently longer than necessary, ranging from 10 to 15 minutes. This extended waiting period only adds to the overall dissatisfaction with the service.nnIt is disheartening to see such a disregard for customer needs in what should be a professional and customer-centric environment. I sincerely hope that the management takes notice of these concerns and takes proactive steps to improve the customer service at this location.
The staff is BAD. I had my prescription today and when I was there around 9 they just told me they just can’t do it because they are about to close. I have serious mental issues and poor sleeping schedule and being told that I can’t get my sleeping medication for today is literally ruin my night and tomorrow’s schedule. It’s very frustrated and it made me cry for a whole hour because I am very stressed out about the sleeping condition and the staff wouldn’t help me at all for just picking up the medication even though I explained my situation. I don’t know what was the reason for not letting me getting my daily medication. I feel really sick and I will not ever choose shoppers as my pharmacy again in the future because of the poor customer service.
Extremely unprofessional at the pharmacy. I was told to come back in an hour then told to wait an additional 15 minutes I waited 30 then when I asked for the medication because I’ve waited 30 mins I was asked if I even needed it today. What a joke? Yes I need it today I’ve came back twice I’m here now and clearly if I’m picking up a prescription I need it. Then it took him two minutes to put it in a bottle and give it to me. Was that so hard? Never in my life have I heard of a health care worker asking someone if they needed their medication because they were just to lazy to bottle it up.
