We tried to get health card. But the line was very slow. I gave all required document like bank statement but was told it is not enough. But that's the acceptable document online. I was told to wait for one month... but what makes the difference? I know this is the rule staffs have to follow. Understood. But Service Ontario what are you afraid of? You think Trump would sneak into Ontario and get your healthcare for free? But seriously what that one month can make a difference? Government efficiency is the thing. Canada can't waste anymore time. This bureaucracy needs to change seriously. That's the only way to save this place. Taxpayers really need to make some changes.

Only 3 people in line between 2-3pm on a Friday, and there were 4 people working the desk. I was in and out in a quick 25 minutes. I went in for a health card renewal and the gentleman at the desk realized my G1’s license address also wasn’t up-to-date, and so he went ahead and did that for me, too!! He’s the one that pointed it out. Saved me a trip and an extra hassle. So thankful!!! I handed over all the documents I had on me, took a picture, waited a few minutes, and I was good to go. The whole process was very quick and seamless. Thank you so much!!!

The woman I dealt with originally told me my US marriage certificate was invalid, did not know how to update a last name change on a provincial age of majority card, tried to put my last name as my husbands first name AND to boot, my new photo has me with one eye closed…on top of that, she forgot my version code on my health card so when I went to refill prescriptions I ran into issues and had to return to the office.. her demeanour was very rude and hostile and she kept laughing at my photos. My new health card photo is fine taken the same day , I do not know why they didn’t use the same picture across both cards like they usually do. I know the customers behind me were also upset with her attitude because we exchanged mutual distaste at the back while filling out forms. She clearly needs more training in the customer service department.

Line was long but moved. Had a lovely lady wearing glasses with salt and pepper hair help me. She was the nicest person! I was anxious and she helped me get through.

Had an appointment today for my Dad to get Ontario ID and Health Card Renewed. Unfortunately, I didn't get the employee's nameshe was at the last wicket from entrance, but she was extraordinary and very helpful. She was patient and friendly throughout the entire process.
