Oshawa Fire Station 1

Called for a shorted wire (just wasn’t sure what to do). Dispatcher was very understanding and courteous. The firefighters showed up less than 10 min later, assessed and showed me what the issue was. Cut the power to that specific wire in a partially finished basement even though they had to do extra work since the wire wasn’t visually traceable. THEN they installed my carbon monoxide/smoke detector for me AND gave me one for the basement cause I didn’t know I had to have one for every floor. Through this whole thing they were soooo pleasant and professional and just explaining everything as they went along. I cannot believe how amazing the fire department is in Oshawa, Thank you so much, just went above and beyond!!!
