Ontario Disability Support Program

I feel misled and left with not only unclear answers, but flat out wrong information. Due to some alleged and as of yet unexplained issue I didn't receive payment. I had gone in twice and no one did anything but try to get my problem onto someone else. This is the first payment I've missed to me. End result? Missed auto insurance payment, $40 cost on me. This will happen again in about 24 hours since that is my insurance company procedure to check twice my savings account. Also my bank will hit me twice for an NSF charge. The strange thing is I kept going in and getting obviously no help. I've not eaten for a couple of days due to no money. I didn't used to feel the government was against the downtrodden. Who designed this system? My 12 year old son who luckily I dropped off at my parents place. They are retired government employees and have no money issues. All I really hope is I'm in a position to do exactly what's been done to me by those responsible.

So far so good..i have been dealing with Pauline as my mother current case worker is away Rhonda.. She was very understanding and quick to get things resolve. Thank you ODSP..we will see how Rhonda will handle the case.

Very hard office to get in touch with anyone. I let the phone ring and ring and ring and wait for an operator. The bigger problem is getting a call back from my worker. I'm aware of the 24 hour turnaround time, but apparently she is not. I call back after the 24 hours has passed and still get voicemail. After calling countless times, the operator sends me to the "emergency case worker". Well then, thanks for another voicemail! Finally, I call and get my worker on the line. Only to find out that she doesn't remember our conversation from yesterday. Thanks ODSP.

Today I tried to reach them, but they cannot be reached by their general phone number. When getting transferred to the front desk, it says: this mailbox is full. There is no way for me nor anyone else to get in touch with them. The people here working are definitely uneducated and not right to do the job. Especially case worker EDWINA JONES. This lady disgusts me. She never returns your call. Even if you have left 10 messages. I have reported her and this ODSP location to the ombudsman. Everyone having similar issues, please contact ombudsman Ontario. I wouldn't be surprised if they clean up this place and replace the workers.
