SEPHORA

I enjoy shopping at Sephora because they offer a selection of cruelty free products, however if I could rate this a two at the same time for employees knowledge of the brands, I would. Any time I’ve ever asked if a product is cruelty free they seem to shrug and say “I’m not sure”. I end up doing my own research, as I also should, however find it extremely disappointing and unprofessional when “experts” are not knowledgeable regarding basic information on brands. I would love to see Sephora giving seminars to their employees so they could actually learn about the products they are selling beyond “this is a pretty colour”.

Out of the many Sephora stores I've been to in the Lower Mainland, I find the staff at this particular location to be the most helpful and friendliest. They're really knowledgeable about the products and actually go out of their way to make you feel like a valued customer. My only qualm...and it's a tiny one...is that they seem to have less items in stock/run out of stock quicker than other Sephora stores.

I am a male and I do not shop at beauty places often. Today I just wanted to get something for my wife and was basically shut down when I tried to get the cashier to ring in my product with some discount I saw online. I have no idea why online promos can't be used in store. I only had 2 products and I just wanted to get it and go, but no... cashier gave me the "you can't use it without me seeing the email" spiel. There's no wonder why you don't see guys shopping here .... Will not be returning here again

very deceitful! i specifically asked for a smudgeproof & waterproof lipstick. the staff showed me a liquid lipstick & applied it on my lips. when i smiled, lipstick were all over my front teeth but the staff told me its because i got dry lips. she told me that i should buy lip balm to get rid of dryness & guaranteed that the lipstick is really smudgeproof &waterproof because she wears it on the pool. bought the products that she recommended. to my surprise, lipstick is all over my glass when i drink water! its better to buy lipstick from other stores who doesnt lie to customers!

Customer service is excellent! They honored my late arrival at my custom makeover appointment, and Alex did an amazing job on my face! It was my first experience at Sefora and will be definitely going back for more!
