Tried to get a replacement ratchet or a kit to fix my old one, but now you have to jump through hoops to get the "Lifetime Warranty" repairs/replacement through a 1-888 number... Not impressed.. Now I have to wait for up to 3 days for a return call just to let me know the status on it. Who knows when I'll actually get the replacement :( The local salesman at the store was very helpful, but the warranty system is flawed... Update: April 24, 2017. I called the 1-888 number again, as they didn't bother to call back. Seems they won't replace or fix my ratchet as it's obsolete. So they are sending me a $25 gift card in 4-6 weeks!!!??? Seriously Sears? I paid more for the tool with the "Lifetime" warranty. I suggest Sears just stops using the lifetime warranty draw for their tools and be honest with customers, and not mislead them. NOT a happy customer... The Lethbridge store itself is pretty decent as far as people go, but the underlying problem is higher up the chain.

We went to Sears to buy a fridge as our fridge broke down and the associate who helped us was very sweet and helpful. We had a few options that we liked but chose the fridge that would be delivered the earliest (May 12). We also signed on for the 6-month financing plan because the associate said it would not cost us anything (she conveniently did not mention the $50 administrative fee). If we had known about the fee, we would have paid for the fridge right then and there. A few days later, we received a call saying that our fridge delivery was delayed to May 20th. We were frustrated that we would have to go two more weeks without a fridge but we thought we could survive so we didn't complain. Then, just a couple of days ago, we received another call saying that the delivery was actually delayed until May 26th. This was the last straw for us. If we had known that this fridge would not be delivered until the end of May, we would have opted for our first choice fridge that was set to be delivered May 30th. Our decision making when buying the fridge was solely based on the prospect of having the fridge delivered sooner (May 12th). There is clearly something wrong with the communication between this store and the warehouse that needs to be fixed. We went to the store today and cancelled our order. Luckily, the associate was extremely kind and handled our request very well with many apologies. I am pleased to say that we went to Leon's after this and will be receiving our first choice fridge May 16th.

EDIT: to the owners of this store, i cannot help but notice, despite posting this review over 3 months ago that I am the only one that hasnt received a reply to their review... As much as im not an exemplary person for complaining online about my experiance, that does not dismiss my thousands of dollars spent on your wares. The fact that you do not have the decency to go on and: A) apologize B) offer a solution Or C) acknowledge me in general despite ALL other reveiws receiving responses INCLUDING reveiws much more recent than mine Shows that the person running this account obiously does not care about customers in distress over any of your goods. Or the person who is running this account does not have the aurhority to deal with problems this deep. Either way, a customer is a customer and i should at least been aknowledged. I have left my old reveiw below unedited, i hope this has in some way helped someone make the same mistake that I did. Aweful appliance sector, they will say anything to sell you the worst appliances to make a quick buck, the company they outsource repairs to is even worse and can leave you without proper service after hours of on phone time. They dismiss any attempt to inquire about warranty or insurance. If you buy a dishwasher here you should be prepared to wash your own dishes for more time than the dishwasher actually runs.
