Save On Foods

They have a very nice pharmacy with very friendly pharmacists. The grocery selection is rather slim compared to big stores and they carry more name-brand items so the prices are a bit higher. However the bakery and deli are fantastic and those are what keep me coming back. Love the fresh bread and foot sandwich meat selection. And the selection of prepared meals isn't too bad either.

You may pay a little more, but it has more than just the popular items. It has Dave's bread. What is so special about it? Ever since Costco in its wisdom dropped its ciabatta bread that hadn't affected my blood sugar level, I had to find a substitute. This works, but now the stove close to where I live that continues to carry out.

Expensive...you have to have a Save On card to get on special prices...Safeway YIG Walmart dont do that....so why would you pay more...because you dont have their card...

Haven't been too happy with them in the past 6 months or so. Everything from rotten produce to staff working the meat deli counter who don't have a clue about the products they're selling.

Typical Save On Foods. This is a pretty standard Save On Foods, but smaller. It's nice to have a large grocery store in this neighbourhood, but prices are a bit steep compared to some nearby competitors. I go there for the occassional odd items we need, since it is only a sort walk away.
