Donald's Market

My wife and I frequent Donalds market because of the great produce and variety of small company and alternative items. One thing that is a bit strange about Donalds is where they source some of their produce and fish. Most stores like superstore and safeway have options for something produced in BC, obviously more expensive, but still the option. I've been in Donalds several times and have only seen tomatoes from Mexico or salmom from Russia. Which is a bit ridiculous. It's great to support a local store, but they might want to start supporting local producers.

Great store. Always clean and decent prices plus a good selection of organic and vegan stuff.. and unlike some other small produce stores everything is fresh and they discount stuff that isn't. Also often they have clearance deals that are worth checking out.

Great market. Reasonable prices. Far less expensive than pomme.

Awesome grocery store. Lots of organic brands here for really really good prices!

It's not the biggest store around, but they have great variety! And I loved that they put old almost bad produce on discount instead of throwing away (or composting). The staff are very friendly, I will definitely shop there again.
