Save-On-Foods

I originally gave 5 stars because the store is always clean, and well stocked. The prices are decent and the produce is most often okay. Where you lost a star was because of the steep increase in delivery cost. I loved ordering groceries when I had a busy weeks but now it's not worth it. I was fine on my part making sure I placed an order by Thursday, and opting for poor time slots like 7-9pm to get a decent delivery rate. But now you want $10 at minimum!!! Not a chance, especially when you're making me spend a minimum of $40 just to place an order. I hope you have a strategy for when Whole Foods and Amazon launch delivery in Canada. Even if it's $13 for a decent time slot, they offer 1hr delivery, so I don't have to do half as much accommodating as I do to order from Save On.

Pretty disappointed with the service I received. Walked around a bit and selection wasn't too bad. Ordered myself a calzone and went straight to the register, could barely hear the cashier and didn't give off a "happy to help you" aura, more like a "please just get it over with" feeling even though there was no line. Anyways, get on the Skytrain and take a bite out of the calzone and its frosty cold. Pretty disappointed, may change this review when I visit again.

I had a really busy day and was rushing to get groceries done. I left 2 bags of groceries at Save-on and didn't find out until about five hours later ! I phoned save on foods and they couldn't find the bag but said they would have a bag packed with whatever I forgot ready to pick up. I didn't even have a receipt and I had this food in a reusable bag. They even offered to give me another reusable bag!! This is amazing service x10 ! By the time I got there one of the employees had seen this bag and put it aside so I got all my original stuff back. This ended my crappy day on a high note thank you !

this is where i do all of my shopping. its a very large store, so it pretty much has whatever you could be looking for. its always easy to find a staff member for help, they're a huge help and very knowledgeable. great prices as well.

The store is enormous, so it takes a few visits to get familiar with where they keep things. I happened by when many staff were out stocking shelves, and all were exceedingly helpful, offering assistance before I had to ask! This location had a great bulk foods section. I wish Save-On in general (not just this store in particular) would stock more BC produce when possible.
