Safeway Sunwood Square

Closing permanently on July 5th. Very few real sales and jacked up prices are the reason why. Too bad.

Lots of free parking some shaded areas on the East side of the store. I have been watching and I do believe this Safeway is going to close down. The shelves are not stocked as it normally was. I stopped going to this one and was there due to car troubles , didn't go inside. There is a Superstore not far as well as another Safeway on the opposite side of the Lougheed Hwy. Lots of food choices.

Love this place. Selection is great and staff are helpful sandwiches are the best and a good selection of other hot foods ... some prices are a little higher but I will pay it because they don't cut corners on selection and have some better quality food items then other stores in the aria bags are free and they bag for you and this has never changed. This being said when they do have deals some in store they add good.

I have preferred to shop at Safeway for years. It may seem pricey to some but they obviously don't know how to look for the in store specials. The prices are fine by me and I don't have some jacked up budget!! I will keep shopping at Safeway, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff and good selection and I can even grab a coffee mid shop to perk me up. Yay!

We have been shopping here since they moved to this location. There was a time when they were a little more expensive but not now. We didn’t mind paying a little more as the parking was easy compared to other local grocery stores and the staff are always willing to help you out. We hope this store will remains open. We would hate to leave Safeway after all our years of loyalty!

The Pharmacy at this Safeway has the best staff in the lower mainland especially Teresa. Teresa provides amazing customer service, she cares about you as a person. The people here are the only reason for Safeway getting my business. I've been a customer here for over 10 years and am very disappointed that this location will be closing down soon.

Love the prices , And the Produce quality is excellent. Meat department is always full and appealing. Checkout is fast and friendly. Keep it up Safeway ..I Will keep coming back..

Reliable grocery shop. Has very friendly employees, fresh made food, and is decently-sized. Some prices may seem a bit high, but the key is to look for the specials!!

the customer service is a total skeleton crew after 6pm. they have ONE till open. NO ONE in the bakery either. i constantly have to find a worker to ask for someone to come to the bakery. ONLY ONE till open after 6pm as well unless you go through the self serve check out.

I’m used to being disappointed in my life, whether it being my dog eating my bed, walking into a tricky glass door or Spilling water all over my blue dress while in an interview… Today I was hoping maybe a little luck would be on my side, all I wanted was a jalapeno popper, so I called in to see if they had any in the deli, they did not… I sighed and softly said wow, this is the worst thing that could possibly happen… :’ But then the lady said “how many you want? When you want it?!” I was like ASAP! :D And she made them for me, they were ready in less than 15min, really great service, I wish the girl wore a name tag but I didn’t notice one on her. Anyways thank you young girl at the deli who made me my jalapeno poppers!
