Safeway Shaughnessy

This is a very neighbourly supermarket. Its a very nice store, with plenty of departments, you could practically find anything!! There's a floral section, pastries, fresh fruits and veggies (they even cut and prepackage fruits which is perfect for little kids at school). I love this location and it is my regular one. Employees are extremely friendly too. Would recommend.

I love this branch. They are so kind and nice customer service. and Same employees are always working there. it means their company branch atmosphere are very good. I like here.

I don't normally shop at Safeway I had to be in that area for a few months. I began investigating this store and was pleasantly surprised. Prices good. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very helpful, the ole school type when you wanted to know where items are located they actually take you directly to it

Went to the pharmacy first, to pick up a prescription, as always Cynthia was great! I would have given the pharmacy 5 ***** on their own. However, I also stopped to pick up some groceries on my way out. I chose a line with only two people in it, but it went sooo slooow!! Every other line was out before me. When it was my turn to check out, I realized why...she was talking to absolutely everyone around her, and butting into other checkers's conversations with their customers. She was just standing there, blatantly waiting for people to answer her back. I couldn't believe it. I also wanted cash back on my transaction, but she turned around too fast for me to ask. Absolutely no customer service!!! I would have given her a zero star rating if I could, but she brought my overall experience rating right down to a 3.

They are sold out with most of the bakery stuff including all kinds of buns by 7pm. The Coquitlam central location is better in quantity and quality in Bakery products
