Safeway Shaughnessy

My husband picked me up a bouquet of flowers from Safeway floral department for my birthday we’ve always got our flowers there. I was shocked to see these flowers were are all dead in the bouquet . I actually called the clerk and she told me I could come back Friday night or on the weekend and she would put some yellow flowers back in? Sorry but traffic is really bad right now and I’ll pass on that. Needless to say I won’t be going back there to get flowers anymore!

Safeway is another good place to shop- their employees are very nice and the baker is a nice touch to what would otherwise feel like a more local Walmart. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxed making it one of my preferred shopping areas. Watch the prices though as sometimes there is a better deal at superstore for certain things.

This is a very neighbourly supermarket. Its a very nice store, with plenty of departments, you could practically find anything!! There's a floral section, pastries, fresh fruits and veggies they even cut and prepackage fruits which is perfect for little kids at school. I love this location and it is my regular one. Employees are extremely friendly too. Would recommend.

Safeway can be expensive, especially if your funds are veryyy limited. With that said, they do have great sales all the time, as well as their wiiide selection of many, many items - from pre-made salads, subs, soup or shepherds pie to baby items, toiletries, .. I can go on, but I won't. nI want to add that Safeway has always been one of the CLEANEST grocery stores, etc that I've come across over the years, even living elsewhere.nThey now have a Scene card to scan and receive points. It helps take money off your bill and has many other prizes!
