Terrible customer service here. It seems as though every time I am here there is another example of the lack of competency amongst most of their workers: no efficiency, not sure when to ask for help instead of making customers wait.nToday I spent 10 minutes waiting for a receipt. Could have been resolved much more quickly if the attendant would have just asked for help.
Customer parking underground. A bit of an awkward layout but it's one of the newest Save on foods in Vancouver. The self checkout didn't take my more rewards card...which has never happened before at other stores.... It's the card barcode but the staff said that the machine uses the app barcode. Which is their advertised NEW app I haven't set up yet. I used to have the old save on app. So I HAD to gather my 4 items and RE LINE UP in the regular non-express non-self check line to see the cashier to check out my 4 items. very inconvenient.nnPharmacy has tons of natural health products.nnPrices are a bit high for florals and decor.nnLottery had a Cash Only sign on it...?nnI was really impressed by the meat section. Wonderful display of skewers.nnDidn't see any SOF staff members while shopping. Didn't see customer service in particular.nnSide note: someone incredibly rude put a whole submarine sandwich with ham filling in the cereal area. All smashed and open. People need to be respectful and responsible and not create messes for the employee and society.
The worse save on location . Should have never came here just have to stick with the main street location. Excellent cashier & staff there . Here exactly opposite.n
The only large grocery store chain in Kerrisdale. Has everything you need in one of their smaller sized stores. Another older store is located on West 41st. Free underground parking. #LetsGuide
They have placed the gluten-free flours right beside the wheat flour so that the bags of gluten-free flour are covered in a dust of wheat flour making them inaccessible to anyone who is celiac or needs to be truly gluten free as they will get sick from touching the bags.nnDo not go to this store if you're hoping to be in and out in less than 20 minutes. At peak times they only have two cashiers working. There is always a line ofsix or seven people waiting for the cashiers and another line of six or seven people waiting for the self checkout. The Save on self checkout system is problematic and is always requesting help from the assistant. They should learn from the Safeway systemnnOn a positive note their prices are reasonable for Vancouver.
