Save-On-Foods is one the most organized grocery stores, their produce section is massive and I love that their deli and bakery are close together. You are navigating without feeling stuck. Their meats are all together neatly arranged and fresh. Every aisle is stocked there isn’t any shortage of food. Friendly staff and very helpful!
Most recent scenario. Found a piece of sharp plastic sitting on top of ground beef. With the amount of issues at this location it seems health and safety is being ignored.nnTerrible customer service here. It seems as though every time I am here there is another example of the lack of competency amongst most of their workers: no efficiency, not sure when to ask for help instead of making customers wait.nToday I spent 10 minutes waiting for a receipt. Could have been resolved much more quickly if the attendant would have just asked for help.
@pharmacynnWe were appalled by this pharmaceutical assistant’s she had no name tag refusal to provide vaccination services simply due to challenges verifying ID—despite the fact that another pharmacy was able to complete the verification process within minutes and administer the vaccine promptly and without fuss. The experience at your location caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.nI sincerely hope your policies and training are reviewed to ensure a more compassionate and efficient experience for all customers, especially seniors.
Even though sales price was good for asparagus past Monday but the quality is rotten. The top of asparagus was sprayed with mist so I couldn’t tell until at night preparing it for cooking. It was 1/2 rotten and most had to cut off. Please sell customer a more reliable product
They look big, as they have underground parking, but it seems to be smaller inside.nThey have pharmacy service during the day, which is good, though.nThey have a deli section that also have tables that you could dine in.nI suppose that's why it looked a little packed for other groceries.nIt is a little far from the Kerrisdale downtown, but you could walk a bit to go there.nSometimes they don't have things in stock so you can check nearby saveonfoods in that case.
