This has got to be the only No Frills that is constantly restocking at all hours of the day and one would think that’s a good thing, right? No. The whole store looks like a stockroom. Don’t bother getting a cart because the aisles are narrow and there is always a trolley of boxes in the way and if someone is restocking, you are made to feel like you are in THEIR way and to come back when they are finished that section. Every aisle has boxes strewn about. Just a giant mess.
Frequently has inaccurate and unclear pricing on various products. Cashiers frequently make mistakes on what they are charging you and do not have any idea what the price of their products are because the labelling is so terrible. Most of the staff, except for a few people, have terrible attitudes and never apologize for the inconvenience they cause you when you have to go back and correct them on the wrong price they have charged you. Today I spent 30 minutes showing them the price of their products when they tried to manually charge me more than double the listed amount, and when they realized I was right, I didn’t even get an apology for the inconvenience. They looked at me like I was inconveniencing them.
I discovered this place by walking to the bus stop. I found mostly of the groceries are cheaper than the Safeway near my accommodation. There are clearance sales near the cashier.
Get rid of the self-checkouts. They are terrible. Customers forced to use them and they always have tech issues and hold up the lines.nEach grocery store is different so how am I suppose to know where the right buttons are… user error becomes a norm.nnFYI - I love No Frills but too many bad experiences lately.
Store is generally clean and stocked. Cashiers there look like they don't enjoy their job. No greetings Hello or Thank you when it's your turn to pay. They always look annoyed with attitude.
