Always my go-to for fresh flowers. They arrange per my request all the time. Tons of options and the ladies are very nice and ensuring my bouquet looks as I wanted it to be.
This location sold me moldy food then after telling me I could come in for a refund or exchange didnt have anyone on staff who could do it. I wont ever be returning after this experience. I wasnt even upset, i just wanted my money back. Pictures is cheese purchased March 5th, expiration July 19th. Tried to return it March 6th.
This Safeway has been serving the Broadway and Commercial community for years, there are ready to eat meals, a Starbucks, a pharmacy, and the typical supermarket sections. I would say it is quite clean and the shelves alway seem stocked.
The food was really cheap, but so was everything else unfortunately. Staff was clearly overwhelmed and exhausted. I have worked in grocery and know how stressful it is to work with not enough cashiers, and clearly with only 2 cashiers at 7pm there was way too many people for them to handle.nnThere were ridiculously long lineups, and because they were so overwhelmed with people, they were a bit short with me. Again, I've worked as a cashier, I know how irritating of a job it can be, especially closing, but when I tried to make small talk and ask questions I was ignored, and they did not listen to me when I said I wanted to pay by cash I was not at self serve btw.nnAdditionally, the produce was under-stocked with very few fresh vegetable options, though, I will say that what was in stock looked of good quality, with some nice nectarines and good tomatoes.
I noticed multiple times there is expired stuff in bakery. Today I almost checked out and they didn't even apologize at the counter, the only reaction was oh - I will remove it. I went back and that was not the only box. I shopped on 24th and these boxes were expired on 23rd only. Low bar for standards and heath risk
