Always my go-to for fresh flowers. They arrange per my request all the time. Tons of options and the ladies are very nice and ensuring my bouquet looks as I wanted it to be.
This location sold me moldy food then after telling me I could come in for a refund or exchange didnt have anyone on staff who could do it. I wont ever be returning after this experience. I wasnt even upset, i just wanted my money back. Pictures is cheese purchased March 5th, expiration July 19th. Tried to return it March 6th.
Give karam a raise. He was so funny and gave me and my friends great service. I hope he was able to get the night off and see the fire works at English bay. Best experience I’ve ever had at a store in my life.
Shopped here and got a parking ticket from Diamond Parking while my car was in the lot - the ticket was issued 14 minutes before I even finished checking out. I disputed it and provided my Safeway receipt as proof. Diamond denied my appeal, stating that my purchase was too small to count as valid proof of being a customer - a rule that appears nowhere on the posted signage.nnI reached out to Safeway corporate twice by email asking them to intervene with their parking contractor. No reply either time. The notice has now escalated to $136.50.nnI am not alone. A quick look at the reviews for this location shows at least four other customers in the past year reporting the same thing - ticketed by Diamond Parking despite being legitimate Safeway shoppers, with receipts dismissed or ignored. One reviewer notes they previously had a ticket waived, which confirms Safeway has the ability to fix this - they simply choose not to.nnSafeway lost my business. If you park here, keep your receipt and photograph the signage. And if you have the same experience, leave a review - this location needs to drop Diamond Parking or take responsibility for how their contractor treats customers.
I just went through a stressful situation when I momentarily lost my wallet at Safeway. It turns out I only realized it when I got to the cashier, because I intended to pay in cash. So, I realized I had lost my wallet, and I immediately got desperate and nervous. However, the woman who was at cashier 7 was terrible! At no time did she propose to help me or offer any kind of support; she only worried if I would be able to pay for the purchases she was going through, and, by the way, in an extremely rude way, was the only thing she asked me: Will you be able to pay for the purchases? I was super nervous, but terrified by this person's stupidity, so I just wanted to get out of there and look for my wallet. Well, I paid with my card on my cell phone, then I got help from the customer service guy who let me put the purchases there and look for my wallet. When I came back, already hopeless, he gave me my wallet!!! The relief was huge not for the material goods, but for all the documents, thank you very much to this person who cared and helped. However, Safeway, choose your cashiers better, because if it were only for this cashier woman, I would never return to this Safeway specifically!
