I don’t understand the lack of mojos just make more? Running out just order more? Every time I come here which is a lot because I live close they are out what’s the deal? Pls I just want mojos
Unfortunately I wish I could leave a better review for this Safeway, but I came in looking for a padlock after calling at 10pm and asking if they had one and being told yes, only to get to the store at about 10:30 only learn from other staff that they don’t carry padlocks… The first 2 staff I asked had no clue what I was asking for and didn’t know where anything in the store was, and the 3rd person told me they don’t carry them…nnThe other note I have is that at night it feels a bit unsafe to enter this Safeway location because there are quite a few homeless folks sleeping outside the doors. I know it’s not their fault and I do feel bad for the homeless, but it’s a bit nerve wracking to see people on drugs walking around the parking lot at night shouting at each other.
Safeway at commercial is usually my quick stop on my way home from work should I need something urgent. I can usually find everything I need with limited help. Today I had the most incredibly unpleasant experience with the ‘Customer Service’ desk that will end any future trips here. When I went in after work today, I stopped to get a bag of hot dog buns, a couple of vegetables, and some items at the deli. I needed to know if the hot dog buns had dairy in them due to one of my guests being lactose intolerant, but unfortunately your bakery goods do not list ingredients let alone allergens. So I had to seek some help. I went to the deli to ask for their help as someone was behind the counter, they directed me to the bakery - I went and poked my head into the door at the bakery, but everyone had headed home for the night. I then decided customer service was the next obvious step. I went up to customer service and asked if they could help me with getting the ingredients for the hot dog buns, to which they responded ‘they don’t train me in the bakery, I don’t know.’ I asked could you direct me to someone who could help me, they said ‘come back during business hours , the bakery is closed’. I said, okay I’d like to make the suggestion that allergens and ingredient lists should be available to your customers regardless of the time of day. They proceeded to raise their voice at me, repeating that they aren’t trained in the bakery and didn’t know and to come back when the bakery is open. I dropped my items in an aisle and chose to leave. This is for one, unacceptable behaviour for customer service to raise their voice at a customer, and two, it should not be so hard to find at the very least common allergens for your in-store items. The inaccessibility is astounding. I won’t be returning.
I love Safeway. But this location is the worst. There are many stories of people online having issues with diamond parking who patrols the lot. They ticket people even if they shop at the store. I had to get my ticket waived a few years ago. It was a real hassle. Please get rid of diamond parking or do something about when they ticket people who leave the lot but still shop at the store.
I have no respect for franchise owners or managers who direct their security guards to police the store like it’s a bank and hassle people for literally NOTHING save compliance with corporate greed. I say shame on those who are willing to work as goons for these folks because all you’re doing here is helping something that doesn’t care about any of us. Yeah, this store can get levelled for condos!
