Good superstore with a lot of deals. A lot of of the people working there are above 65 so it kind of gives more of that older vibe. I wish they would employ more of the younger generation to give it a younger happier vibe — since we are the future.nnThey have the self serve checkout, which are usually very fast and there’s this one guy that works there who’s really nice and is always joyful. I smile when I see him because he’s just so funny and always in a good mood.nnThe downstairs parking lot is usually loitered with homeless people and smells like pee, so it doesn’t give the most appealing location but besides that it’s alright. There’s also usually people waiting for when you come out to ask you for money.
The store has quite a good selection of products, but the self-checkout system has not been properly tested. You almost always need to ask for help, as it often freezes when you buy something from the fruit department. Even the staff are not familiar with the system: when it asks them to verify the number of bags, they instead count the number of purchased items. Please take a look at the system at Whole Foods - why are they able to run a proper checkout while you still can’t?
A reliable Safeway location with good variety and service. If you need assistance, ask for Maria — she’s excellent at her job and always willing to help. The store is well-stocked, and checkout is usually quick. Overall, a solid place for your grocery runs downtown.
I Gotta say this Safeway's Gotta be the best in the entire City as a location, parking and conveniens to shop with great staff and good selections on produce and everything else really. Has an elevator so shopping on upper floor is no problem & did I mention the restaurant section for there hot food. Not many Safeways left in town you know, and not like this one !
Organized and clean.nExcellent selection of foods, cosmetics and other house needs.nVery convenient to where I live.nMore expensive than No Frills.
